essence Lash Princess Curl Volume Mascara Vegan Cruelty Free

I feel like I’ve always been on a quest to find the best mascara - one that’s black as night, fluffs, separates, curls, and stays put in SWFL weather. I’ve run the gamut with luxury brands and among them all there have only ever been two winners (Stila’s Huge and YSL’s Faux Cils) but do I REALLY want to spend $30+! Not if there’s another option! This mascara is dirt cheap, extremely black, doesn’t have a strong fragrance. The wand is virtually identical to Stila’s Huge and the formula is similar to Faux Cils (FC tends to dry out really fast, so the jury’s still out on that) With just 2 coats my lashes are lifted and curled and fanned out beautifully ALL DAY long. My eyes look dramatic and wide open. The formula dries to a lightweight soft feel, which I love! It removes easily - I use cleansing balm and it melts right off with no rubbing or scrubbing needed so I think it will help my lashes grow long and healthy. This is a great quality for price purchase. The brown color is so pretty and subtle and the formula doesn't sting your eyes or smear. If you do multiple layers, it can get a little clumpy but it is easy to smooth out again. The applicator builds volume and the curl holds well for the whole day. Read more

This is the best mascara I’ve ever used. It lengthens & thickens my lashes without looking clumpy. I get so many compliments with this product. I have had people assume that I was wearing fake lashes or lash extensions, and they immediately ask what mascara I use. Used moderately it gives a natural but darkened & longer look, multiple coats gives a long & thick false lash look. I will not buy any other brand than essence, and the pink Lash Princess is my all time favorite. I appreciate that it’s affordable & has remained so for the 3-4 years I’ve been using it. The quantity is great too, a tube usually lasts a good long while with every day use & it doesn’t get cakey or dry out before it’s gone like some mascaras do. The coverage is an even & solid black but it doesn’t smear all over your face refusing to come off either. It stays well throughout the day, but it’s not oily or watery either - it’s perfect.
