Why pay more for the Nespresso brand descaling solution when this product worked excellent. Was hesitant at first to buy but was happy with the results. Easy to use. Cleans scale completely. Used to use vinegar and water and it worked fine with the municipal water in my area, which is not hard at all. Now that I am on well water, harder, there is more white residue. This stuff does a better job than vinegar with that. I can see the results in the reservoir. I have a Braun 12 cup. Never had a single serve machine so don't know how it works with those. Price is decent, too. It's apparently just citric acid, water and glycerin according to the label, nothing weird going on. So far no issues, and my machine is running smooth and going on 5 years now. I live in Florida and our water has a lot of magnesium that causes scaling.
