I wanted a good looking, non-plastic or wood trashcan for my bathroom so I took a risk on this one and I am THRILLED with it. First, it's heavy so it looks and feels - expensive, but it's not. Plus, the matte finish gives it a designer, elevated vibe. Highly recommend! I purchased all the matching items to the trash bin in store and was very impressed! However, I decided to purchase the trash bin via Amazon as a gift for my daughter! when the package arrived, the box was extremely damaged and I thought wow I hope the trash bin is not damaged to myself! As I’ve had a long long-standing relationship with Amazon and always good service! I opened the box and noticed that the trash bin was secured in the box with shipping foam, and all of that seem to look in place! As it was a gift to go along with many many other items, I did not take trash bin out of all of the entire packaging! Whe daughter and son-in-law open the gift, they were extremely ecstatic and grateful, however that quickly changed when they realized the bin was cracked all the way down and unable for use! It was a pretty big disappointment as the weight to the trash bin was great. The overall look of the marble was beautiful, but they were unable to use the trash bin as they set up their entire bathroom with items that had been purchased to include the presence of the trash bin! I’m sure we probably have camera footage of the delivery, but it’s clear that the package was not handled properly! It was very disappointing because many of the guest absolutely loved the design and we’re very interested in where I purchased them until they seen the damage to the actual item! The size of the trash bin is amazing, I personally believe that we would have purchased many more items. However it was a sour taste in our mouth to see how the packaging was handled, as there was quite a bit of packaging so it must have been either damaged prior to packaged or handled very, very rough! I would like a refund and because we do love the product we would love to have a new trash bin shipped out in the hopes that this one will be handled with much more care! if the box and the bin would not have came damaged in such a way, we could actually say for the price it is worth it in our opinion! because at this point, we now have to go through the process of getting a new bin and having the old one returned, which is a headache, but one of the things that meant the most was the presentation to all of the guests in the home when they seen the bathroom put together! I believe that the size of the bin is a great size. I believe the weight of the bin proves its value with the beauty of the marble however, packaging of this item and handling of the item needed to be cared for much better! our family has been shipping and ordering with Amazon for almost 20 years so it is my hope that we can make this better because I would love to be able to write a review about how the overall look came together and how Amazon thisable to help resolve tissue in a timely manner!
