Wanted a simple black dress I could throw on in hot weather or wear over a swimsuit and that's mostly how I ended up using this one. The fabric is light and breathable so it stays comfortable when it's warm out. I like having the pockets since they're useful for a phone or small things around the house. The material does feel fairly thin though and the loose shape can make it look a little more casual than expected. On the positive side it washes easily and hasn't shrunk so far. For something that's mainly meant to be an easy summer dress or cover up it works fine. Considering the price it feels like a reasonable value for something simple and lightweight. Read more

This ETCYY beach dress is so cute! I love the cute ties on the sleeves; they add such a feminine touch. I purchased the white striped dress and was worried that the fabric would be see through, but it isn't, it is actually a really nice quality and fabric weight. The dress is very flattering on. I'm not a huge fan of the pockets as I feel it adds extra fluff around my hips but other than that I love it. I'm looking forward to summer to wear it. Not crazy about this! I thought it was going to be a patterned fabric, but it is a pattern printed on fabric and just does not look high quality. This review is for the ETCYY Short Sleeved V-neck dress. I ordered this in Small in the Striped Navy print. This is a cute & comfortable summer dress with some nice details. This dress is true-to-size, so if you usually wear a small, this should fit well. My dress is a little larger than the posted measurements, with both bust and waist measuring 36". The fabric is made from 70% polyester, 25% rayon, and 5% spandex, and it feels very soft and comfortable. There is plenty of stretch to this material, but it doesn't stretch out of shape. The stripes are a medium navy color, and they run up and down on a white background. The vertical stripes are flattering. Cold water washing and hang drying are recommended. This fabric shouldn't shrink, even if dried on permanent press, but hang drying will probably prevent fading. I love the details on this dress. It has tie-sleeves that are 8" long, good-sized pockets, and seaming detail at the top. The neckline has buttons and can be adjusted to make the neckline deeper or more shallow, a feature I really appreciate. The button-holes are tight so the buttons stay securely shut. There are some loose threads, but this is generally well-sewn with straight seams. For the $17.97 price at the time of ordering, this is a great deal and a cute & casual summer dress. Recommended.
