The reviews made me nervous but I'm so glad that I bought it anyway because I love these. I got a medium one for my mom and I wanted to try it on to see how well it fits I'm a large and the medium actually fits surprisingly well but it was just a little snug so I got a large and it fits great. Like other people were saying it's not exactly form fitting and it's not flattering if you're overweight like me (170lbs) but if you wear shorts or something under it that can hike up over your belly/muffin top it looks decent. I'm planning on getting in shape this summer and I really hope I can reach that goal so I can go back down to a medium like I used to be and see how much cuter the dress will look. This dress is so cute! Material is heavy and not cheap. I ordered the orange and the striped orange. Both are amazing but have different style fabric. Exceptional quality with regards to weight of the fabric. I did have to exchange the orange one because first one arrived with a defect. The pocket was flipped and sewn into the side hem. In spite of that still a 5 star product, just a manufacturing flaw. I loved it so much I ordered the one in white as well. Fit was perfect for me. I am 5'3" and 155 pounds. Pear shaped body. Sometimes A line dresses have to much room in the belly, this one was perfect. I do like to hide the belly. I normally wear between a medium and large, but usually large for the most part. Fits well, is mostly comfortable (if in the AC) and the pockets are great. The color was accurate. Downside, the material doesn’t breathe. If you are wearing in hot temperatures, you’ll feel even hotter. It doesn’t absorb any sweat so make sure you are wearing “sweat catching” underpants. I wore this on a day that was 100+ degrees and despite staying in the shade and drinking a lot, I was hotter than everyone else, getting heat related health issues although I’m extremely healthy.
