Wanted the thickest, toughest, best moisturizer I could get for extremely dry, flaky, and all-around lousy skin. This is it. It's thick. Doesn't absorb immediately; you may have to work a little. Can leave a little odd (even slightly sticky) texture on your hands, but only for a very brief period. No visible signs except making your skin look better. The results are excellent. Vastly prefer it over HylatopicPlus, which is a prescription lotion. My mother tried it and bought her own! Also doesn't have lanolin like the original. FYI, apparently the USA version does *not* have Shea (which is a nut) but some international versions do. I'm in the USA and both mine were Shea-free. Very moisturizing which my dry skin needs especially in the winter months however I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because it has a greasy shiny finish like Nivea lotions, great if you want that glow, not good if you don’t want to shine, and it’s not easy to apply, I find myself dragging my skin to get it on evenly, it goes on alil smoother on damp skin, right out the shower or after washing hands, I will try the less rich Eucerin lotion to see if it’s easily applied, it does the job on extremely dry skin if used regularly Read more

This is my go-to lotion year-round. Having eczema and sensitive skin makes it imperative that I stay hydrated and this does the trick. It is odorless so you can always put perfume on top of it and it does not interfere. It is thick and creamy and gives you moisture all day. Eucerin Cream is always a win! Read more

Due to hypothyroidism, I have extremely dry skin. During winter months, my lower legs would itch like crazy and the itch wouldn't respond to most anti-itch medications. However, i found that, during the winter, if I didn't dry my lower legs after a shower and immediately applied this to my lower legs and the tops of my feet while the skin was still moist, they wouldn't itch anymore. The only downside is this will make the skin photo sensitive and subject to sunburn more easily. Since at my age, pretty much all I wear anymore are jeans and light compression socks, this is not an issue for me. Read more
