This is my go-to lotion year-round. Having eczema and sensitive skin makes it imperative that I stay hydrated and this does the trick. Wanted the thickest, toughest, best moisturizer I could get for extremely dry, flaky, and all-around lousy skin. This is it. It's thick. Doesn't absorb immediately; you may have to work a little. Can leave a little odd (even slightly sticky) texture on your hands, but only for a very brief period. No visible signs except making your skin look better. The results are excellent. Vastly prefer it over HylatopicPlus, which is a prescription lotion. My mother tried it and bought her own! Also doesn't have lanolin like the original. FYI, apparently the USA version does *not* have Shea (which is a nut) but some international versions do. I'm in the USA and both mine were Shea-free. This is a fantastic base lotion that is pretty much scentless, so instead of using up my expensive scented oils or body butters I’ll dilute them with this to achieve my overall soft, moisturized skin. I also love to add a very small amount to my face care routine for dry/windy days. It leaves a shine that I personally love, but because it’s definitely heavier than most, so I specifically use this in the fall/winter then go back to using Aveeno in the spring/summer. Read more

Very moisturizing which my dry skin needs especially in the winter months however I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because it has a greasy shiny finish like Nivea lotions, great if you want that glow, not good if you don’t want to shine, and it’s not easy to apply, I find myself dragging my skin to get it on evenly, it goes on alil smoother on damp skin, right out the shower or after washing hands, I will try the less rich Eucerin lotion to see if it’s easily applied, it does the job on extremely dry skin if used regularly Read more

I would recommend this to people who have very dry skin. My skin loves this lotion and it is very light weight. It does leave a little shine but I personally love that. No strong scent nor have I experienced any irritation. My elbows are moisturized all day. Dry patches gone. Read more

This is the best moisturizer for dry skin. I use it for my dry skin and Excema. This is a very large size and easily pumps out with the hand on top. The price is extremely reasonable for this size and it easily beats the overpriced products while working better than them in texture and reducing not only dry skin but also red patches on the skin.
