I preface this by saying I only received this about 40 minutes ago. Inboxed and vacuuming within 5 minutes. It's so easy to put together out of the box. And it's already making me question my current robot vacuum. The amount of pet hair and dust pulled out of my area rug was disturbing. The powerful suction and ease of maneuvering made me miss vacuuming after 2 years with the robot. The large canister is easy to disconnect and dumps from the bottom making the dust and fluff stay inside the garbage can. Reconnecting is so easy! Not a negative, but something to note is the power of the suction in vacuuming one of my runner rugs was lifting the rug from the floor. Maybe I need to adjust the pile height. Also did bare floors with ease. It picks up the small gritty pieces right to the edge of the cats litter box! I just received this yesterday and was very please with the suction and how very well it picked up all the dog fur on my rugs. I did have a problem with using the hose on my couch because the suction was so good even with the attachments :) Being so lightweight when using the hose it's difficult to keep the vacuum upright and also trying to use the hose to reach places as it's hard to keep it extended. I would still recommend this vacuum for deep cleaning rugs and bare floors. I still have some parts from my old kirby that fit to extend the hose to reach over and under places :) You can't go wrong with the price. Read more

Sometimes you just need a basic item without all the bells and whistles. The Eureka PowerSpeed Upright corded vacuum cleaner fits that description. It was easy to assemble - no tools required. Good suction power and ease of maneuverability. A bit heavier than I expected, but that's probably a good thing since it feels pretty solid. It has a good cord length so you don't have to stop and re-plug it in very often. The spin brush is effective on low-pile carpet. It's appearance is chunky with shiny plastic, but that is pretty common among all vacuums. This is a basic, medium-duty vacuum cleaner that gets about weekly use in a small private office. I didn't need a monster vac with pet hair pickup or a bunch of accessories you hardly ever use. But I needed something more than a baby handvac with a pole on the end of it. I'm very pleased with this purchase. If you need a heavy-duty vacuum or have an army of pets, this probably isn't the one for you. But as a mid-weight vac for moderate usage, this one's a champ at a great price. Read more

Overall I think this is a good value for the price. The suction is good. It adjusts easily to different carpet heights. I only give it 3 stars though because there is a serious design flaw. The removable handle with hose & extender is awkward & difficult to use. It doesn't stretch out very far. It is not very maneuverable. Knocks over the vacuum everytime you extend it. I am very disappointed. The design flaw basically ruins the ability to use the hose attachments- Literally. I wanted a good vacuum with an easy to use hose attachment & bought this because the design gives the impression that it's easy & handy to use. It is NOT. Read more

What I liked was the size, and the suction power, my last vacuum finally stopped working after 15 years, great brand but could not find another so I went hunting locally then here at Amazon and found this little gem, don’t let the size fool you because this thing sucks up everything. The suction on this is truly awesome. Easy to clean, washable filters so you don’t spend a fortune buying replacement filters and more time cleaning which is why you bought it in the first place. The cord is just the right length and I don’t regret the purchase, noise level not bad, acceptable. Would buy another if I needed it. Space saving vacuum. Happy cleaning. Read more
