This vacuum works great! It works great on both carpet and hard flooring. It's lightweight size and easy maneuvering make it possible for me to vacuum throughout my house without aggravating my back issues. It has pretty good suction power and works well for picking up dog hair from the carpeting. My only negative comment is that I wish the battery would last a little longer. Seriously one of the best purchases I made in 2025. This baby has a lot of power and being cordless takes it to another level. With a townhouse that has 3 floors and a little one, there’s always something to clean up and it’s nice to be able to do it quickly. Our other vacuum is great but it’s clunky and requires a cord that can get in the way. The eureka is lightweight, easy to maneuver and use whether on carpet or hardwood floors. Sometimes you need to get close to debris if it’s up against a banister or so, but once it makes contact, you hear that satisfying suction sound. I have had this for 6 months now and really like this tiny vacuum! I am a "clean floor fanatic " and was pulling out my regular shark vacuum many times a day but never putting the cord up (driving my husband crazy). Now I can whip this thing out as many times a day as I want then just hang back up and it's 0 hassle. Its very small so it can even fit between my toilet and the wall and also between the legs on my bar stools but also means I have more passes to do in larger areas. I've vacuumed probably 30 minutes at a single time and never ran out of charge. Its suction power is fine (not excellent like car wash vacuums). The only down side is it comes apart easily. There is a button bellow the motor/dirt tank that connects it to the long neck and for some reason that comes off often without being pressed, especially if I'm vacuuming quickly. (See picture) Its light enough for the kids to use as well. Almost deserving 5 starts but the pole coming off all the time knocks it down 1 star for me. Its also more quiet than my old vacuums. I purchased this vacuum on Jul 27, 2025 and payed 95.03 (before tax) to replace a Eufy stick vacuum that stopped working. *** Suggestion *** Before reading my review, download the instructional manual PDF in order to familiarize yourself with parts, operation and maintenance. ** The LED light is incredibly useful and helps locate targets on bare floors. The various accessories are useful and easy to use. I would have preferred stiffer bristles on the brush accessory but I've only used it once. ** Usage Case The breakdown of the floor types we have - 80% bare floor, 15% carpet, 5% rugs. We have two cats and we're constantly vacuuming kitty litter and some fur as well as the never ending assortment of debris our kids manage to create, often within 5 minutes of my vacuuming. ** Battery Life I've always been able to vacuum all floor areas on a single charge in normal mode. Heavy cleaning days may require a pause for charging. Vacuuming at higher power modes will decrease battery life. ** Emptying Canister / Maintenance The canister is easy to empty. Washing is also very easy. ** Noise Level Operating noise level on normal mode is very low, no issue while using Air Pods. Operating at higher speed is a bit noisier but not problematic. ** Wall Mounting/Storage We haven't used the all mounting accessory. The vacuum locks in a way that allows us to stand it against the wall without falling over. I'll update this review if we decide to use the wall mount. ** Overall Impression This vacuum does a great job and is a very good value. I've owned a few Eureka vacuums over the years and all have worked well. Ok I've had this vacuum for about a year now. I absolutely LOVE this vacuum. I have a dog and 2 kids so the mess is MESSY and this vacuum sucks it all up. The reason for the 3 starts is because the vacuum clogged up in the dispensing line. It was VERY HARD to take all of that out as It would not go down at all. I did manage to unclog it after weeks of not being able to use the self emptying system. I flipped it upside down, got cords in there to pull out the stuff but it would not empty entirely. Customer service was slow to respond via email and wouldn't move forward with out the purchase information which was a little hard to find as it was lost in emails. Besides that I love the vacuum. This cordless vacuum is a lightweight workhorse. We have three Corgis who shed continually and we use this vacuum daily or sometimes 2x day. We use it on laminate floors, tile and oriental rugs...does a great job on all. The only reason I gave this a 4 Start review is durability - after continued use the battery doesn't last quite as long and the latch to empty the dust cup gets jammed - and we need to replace each 12-15 months. But considering the price of this vacuum and our heavy use as our main vacuum, we consider that a bargain! Highly recommend. Read more
