I don't know why reviewers are reporting that the top dust cover and cup aren't removable for cleaning. They do remove with an easy clockwise twist. All the parts are removable and the juicing operation is effortless. I have hand pain and that is why I purchased this type of juicer. The domed cover is what sold me on this brand after reading Breville customer reviews that their handle remains up and the juicer uncovered when not in use. I keep this juicer on my countertop. The handle stays down and the cover closes tightly so long as you store without the juicing cone. I'm impressed the fine strainer seems to catch all the pulp from both oranges and limes. Occasionally when juicing small limes I have to reposition the lime as is slips sideways after the first go-round but that's a minor inconvenience for such a great product. The only other tiny complaint I have is the black thingy in the middle that turns the juicing cone is hard to remove for cleaning (although it can be cleaned on the juicer and is technically not even exposed to juice). I've found the curved rubberized tips of terrarium tweezers will pop it off but the manufacturer should just include a piece of angled plastic for this purpose as neither I or my husband who dies NOT have hand issues are able to pull it off. Also, I've had no overheating issues and I typically juice several pounds of fruit at a time. Read more

While this worked it was wonderful, but just after the warranty expired, the motor kept going, but the shaft connected to the motor stopped spinning. There is no information from Amazon or on the internet with contact information for Eurolux, only the name of a distributor that said after the warranty, I can send the unit to them for repair, but after my paying shipping both ways and the cost of the repair, I might as well buy a new one. So, while this juicer is great while it works, nobody should have to pay $150 evey 18 months for what is considered a top of the line juicer. Not worth it. No wonder you can't contact Eurolux. I got this after looking at many different juicers and reading hundreds of reviews. I wanted something simple to squeeze oranges (NOT a nutri bullet-type thing), but that had a decent motor. This is fantastic! It can handle big and little oranges, and the unit’s base and handle are heavy and sturdy. It is very easy to clean, and I appreciate the clear plastic dome that prevents juice from spurting everywhere. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the cup Inside the handle that makes contact with the fruit is fixed. There’s no way to remove it, so cleaning inside it is awkward. We purchased the Erolux after the Vinci juicers we purchased both broke after less than two months worth of usage (the plastic vanes that grip the top of the lemon snapped on 2 units). It's about $50 more and well worth it. The Erolux has been great and we typically juice about 40-50 lemons a week. It has two different strainers. One allows more pulp than the other, which is great if you have different likes in your home. The Erolux is relatively quiet and definitely gets the most juice out of the lemons of the juicer we have owned and is extremely easy to clean up. Hoping it holds up for years! Read more
