I am very pleased with this chair. It is strongly built and has several adjustable features. The color is a true black and very attractive. I really like that the arms can be raised which makes getting in and out of it very easy. It is very comfortable to sit in even for a couple hours at a time. The styling is very attractive and looks great in my room. Read more

I think this chairs is a good chair for the value . I purchased it to replace another chair I didn't care for . This chair is soft in the seat and wide in the seat as well . The armrest swing up is nice . The back support seems good . The assembly was not hard but the screw holes did not line up great and there was a need to loosen the screws and adjust to make the screw holes to line up better . Read more

I researched and read a lot of reviews before making this choice - without spending hundreds of dollars for a chair. This is great chair for the money - its very supportive, sturdy, moves smoothly and I love that the arms lift up so it can fit under my home office desk. I needed more support than the chair I had - paid for a cheap $60 chair but found this was a mistake - and this one is wonderful. I'm not a small gal, by any stretch and I feel well supported, I fit comfortably in the seat without being squeezed in and i love how the lumbar that makes this chair even more comfortable. I know there's a lot of chairs at a much higher price point, that may be even better - but I really feel I lucked out on this one and that it feels and looks more expensive then it is. Now - my bf put it together for me - and there's a bit of confusion at first on direction or 2 (as its only pics) but otherwise, he had it together within 15-20 min. Very happy ! Read more

Only had it for a few days now, but it was very well built and easy to assemble per the instructions. There are some plastic parts (wheels, arm handles) that you might not find on a more expensive chair, but the padding, the gas lift and the leather are all very nice. The chair is firm and comfortable for sitting and looks well made (does not look cheap), it rolls very well, has cushioning on the arms that will prevent dings in the drawer front and with the arms up, it rolls nicely all the way under the desk. I have major back issues and needed to get a better chair. I wanted something not too big to save space so I ordered a smaller one, 17" deep seat, but sent it back as the seat wasn't deep enough after lumber support on the back cushion pushed me out farther on the seat and the front edge of the seat hit on the bottom of my upper legs putting strain on my sciatic. Sitting fully back on this puts the edge under my knees. I was concerned this this one might sit too high and my feet would dangle as my old one could go as low as 15" from the floor but this hasn't turned out to be an issue. In fact, being a little higher has my arms level with my desk so they aren't raised putting strain on me neck. This chair isn't as small as I wanted but it's smaller than some and it's supper comfy and that hasn't turned out to be a big deal. I am 5'4" tall and weigh 140. It's turned out nice to have plenty of moving around space. It doesn't recline quite as much as I would like and yet I have fallen asleep in this chair. Update: The first of these chairs that I bought was awesome. I loved it so much that I bought a second one for my husband for Christmas for his desk. Unfortunately I didn't sit in it enough to realize that the chair was defective. It won't tilt back. Just sad. Well past the return date. . Read more

Very easy to assemble, good quality, and comfortable. The smell coming off of the chair is nauseating. I first thought maybe it was just the packaging it came in. Set out up in my office and it is still giving off a very strong smell of industrial chemicals/paint a week later. Used armor-all and fabric spray to attempt to correct it, but this thing has had Chinese chemical farts blasted in to the very sole of the chair. I assume I will get used to the smell or just die from toxic fumes. Going to dump a bottle of cologne on it so at least it reminds me of my uncle Jimmy’s Pontiac in the 80’s. Update: Chair stench has gone away. Read more

At the time of this review, I have had this chair for four months and I spend a large part of my day in it. I am ~270 lbs and it has been pretty comfortable, but could use some better padding in the seat because it is not as soft as it was when new. Overall, it seems pretty durable. I have not had anything tear or break, though it does have some creakiness to it when I roll around. I bought this one because the arms flip up and I really like that feature. I can do more things in the chair, like play guitar, etc. I can also more easily slide it into my desk with the arms up. It's really nice for a small office. The biggest downside for me is that the arms are not at the ideal height. This does not seem like a big deal until you have been sitting in it for a while and you have to adjust your arms at weird angles. Basically, my keyboard tray is at waist height and the armrests on the chair are about three inches taller and they sit up about 3-4 inches taller than my arms natural resting position which causes my shoulders to shrug. I already have neck/shoulder issues so this is a big concern for me that the chair is not ergonomically friendly. I also cannot use the keyboard or mouse with my arms on the armrests, so I end up raising the right one so I can do my work. Raising the armrests, however, creates another issue. Namely, that when raised the ends are curved and sick out about 5-6 inches from the back into my arms. It is very uncomfortable. So I end up not having a natural sitting position. I would like to give it more stars, but I have to face the fact that I would not buy this again, and had I recognized these issues when I first bought it, i would have returned it. It just took me a while to realize the issues and now it is past the return date. I bought this on sale for $96 and I'd happily spend a little more for armrests that have better function and something that helps my posture, not hurts it. Read more
