I’m 5’11” and 210 pounds with large, athletic thighs, making it tough to find underwear that fits snugly without being baggy at the waist. For years, I stuck to high-quality cotton boxers, but for an upcoming hiking trip to the Himalayas, I needed compact, lightweight, moisture-wicking underwear to save space. Enter ExOfficio—something I never expected. These are incredibly comfortable, snug in all the right places, and stay put without wedgies or compression lines. They take up virtually no space in my bag and dry quickly after a sink wash—perfect for travel. I didn’t think I’d ever get excited about underwear, but these are a game-changer. A+ for fit, comfort, quality, breathability, and value. Don’t let the price tag scare you—worth every penny! Read more

This is the greatest pair of underwear ever made. If you are unfortunate, like me, and sweat badly, you will discover that your underwear, especially around the waist line becomes damp. This is not comfortable and can lead to unwanted marks and odors. This underwear's fabric dries exceptionally quickly. It is moisture wicking. They feel good. They look good. The single know, they are EXPENSIVE. So I look for when they go on sale. They come in both men's and women's, with different cuts, styles, and colors. I have now converted my wife. I bought a single pair as a gift for her for upcoming travel. She loved them so much, she has purchased numerous ones. The waste band will eventually start to fray and stretch, but we're talking years later. These are durable, can be washed in a sink or bathtub if on a business trip or traveling to areas lacking laundry services. They are odorless. Simply stated, these are amazing and you need a pair today. Read more

If you want to travel and not pack a case full of underwear, these are great. So great, in fact, I wear them regularly even when not traveling. High quality, don't get stinky, stretch lasts for years, and you really can rinse them out in a motel sink (or stream), hang them up on the shower rod (or top of the tent), and they are like new the next morning. Took three pair on an 18 day hiking road trip, probably only needed two. Proven great function/value over years. Read more

ExOfficio has been my go-to for years, and their latest version of these boxers is the best yet. The updated fabric is lighter, more breathable, and has just the right amount of stretch for all-day comfort without feeling restrictive. Whether I’m wearing them under dress pants or golf shorts, they stay in place and don’t show any lines. Yes, they’re more expensive than other brands, but the quality and comfort are absolutely worth it. Durable, moisture-wicking, and perfect for travel or everyday wear. Highly recommend if you’re looking to upgrade your basics. Read more

What I like about these is: they are comfortable, they seem to absorb and mask sweat and odors well so you can wear them for a day or two while traveling, they wash and dry quickly and easily, and they really seem to last forever! (I am still wearing a few pairs I procured for a 2006 trip to Africa, and even now, 17 years later, they seem like brand new!) The only down side, really, is how expensive they are. When I can find them for under $20 a pair (rarely) I usually try and grab a new pair. Read more

These are the best. Fit great, wear like iron, quick dry, feels like silk against your skin. what's not to like. I bought my first pairs for a Boy Scout trip with my kids to Philmont. At the time I was wearing RL cotton boxers for my every day wear. Since then all the cotton boxers are gone and the underwear drawer only has these. Cannot recommend enough. Read more
