5 years life out of an inexpensive battery. Not bad

Last week, in August 2025, I replaced this battery which I bought in 2020. My ups started beeping indicating a battery failure, and installing a new battery since it, confirming it was the battery. Given that it lasted 5 years, I'd say it's not bad for the price. I don't know how many times I may have had a power failure that requires ups power, but probably a few, some shorter some longer. I'm now using lifepo batteries instead, stove they are much lighter and suppressed to have higher capacities, but haven't had one for 5 years yet to compare durability. This one has proven to work fine for 5 years of daily use, so I think it's a good buy if you are want to use lead acid batteries. Read more
