I bought these for my dual system water filtration system. They say to change the around the 6 month, but we're going on 1 year. So I'm really happy with these filters. Last year before I had my new deep well dug(140'). I had to change them every month because the sediment was clogging my filter. To the point it wouldn't let any water come through. My pressure used to drop to under 5psi and that's when I knew I had a issue. Well guy said we have 2 options, 1) clean the walls of your well with acid and see if that helps, no guarantee $3,200.00. or Dig a new deep well. No guarantees on if the cleaning would help. I weighed our options and I chose the later $11,900.00 complete. 140' deep 5"casing water well. Now my system works good I change my filters once a year. And I'm a happy camper... Read more
