Let me start by saying how skeptical I was of these sliders. My LG Tower washer and dryer set up is heavy. I mean HEAVY! Almost 400#! I have struggled moving them around my vinyl tile floor over the last 4 months while doing some work on the room they are in. Finally got my washer and dryer hookups relocated to this room and it was time to use these sliders. I am building mudroom cabinets around this appliance so I seriously needed to be able to easily slide this tower in and out of place. I would no longer be able to throw my whole body into them and twist and turn to get them moved. Had a helper tilt the tower and put the sliders under the wheels. I thought for sure they would buckle under the weight of this set....but they didn't! It even a little flex at all! Now time for the test pushing them into place on my dryer vent outlet....held my breath...and pushed. Magic! The tower slid right into place with only a little effort!!!!! And while these are only meant to provide front to back sliding, the wheels don't swivel, I was even able to easily twist the tower to the side. Now for the second test...does the tower move on it's in from the washer spin cycle vibrating it...nope, stays exactly where I put it!!! This is probably one of the best purchases I've made in years. No more struggling to move it around. Also to note, I am 50+ 5' tall weakling. Don't be on the fence, buy this now! Ordered 2. 1 was correct but the other had 4 female parts instead of 2 females and 2 males so had to drive to return center and then wait at home again for another delivery - very irritating. Also the swivel casters work but not very well. They should be on the front instead of back (like having a car with the steering wheels in back - awkward). The brake does not work well as hits floor before activating. Also the rubber wheel stop would not insert on one set of wheels. I had to pry up wheels to get it to go between them. Had previously ordered the dolly with 32 in length from another vendor on Amazon and that one was perfect but just did not have swivel casters which was fine for that particular situation. In summary rated this a 3 for mispackaging but overall did work for my needs just with a lot of irritations. Just an additional update after experimenting some more. Brake does work but instructions were wrong. They said press brake down. It should be up. I also tried the dolly with swivels up front intending to use only the rubber brake stop but it won't fit under the swivel castors so had to go back to swivels on back. I was very pleased with Amazon return procedure in spite of having to go through it. Returned bad item to their retail store partner with Saturday hours with no problems. I was looking for something that would allow me to easily move my water cooler in and out of my pantry to change the 5 gallon water bottle and this worked perfectly. I put a tray underneath my cooler to catch water in case there was a leak (it happened to me before). These appliance rollers worked and fit perfectly. Read more
