This thing is awesome. I bought it because I wanted the heat more than the massage, but it's so enjoyable together. Words can't express how amazing this thing truly is. I have allergies and sinus issues and was looking for something to help with the pressure and pain. This eye massage comes complete with the charging cable and massager. I love the gentle massage on the eyes and temples, the great padding which makes for soothing comfort on your eye area and the soft music which you have the ability to turn off if you so choose. This is an absolute MUST gift. Give the gift of relaxation! Just sit back, relax and soothe those tired eyes with a nice relaxing eye massage. The battery lasts a very long time and the mask is very comfortable, sometimes I scoot it up or down a bit to hit trigger points in my temples. The heat is perfect, just warm enough to be relaxing. The massage is great too and putting them both together is amazing. It has helped settle down the pressure and pain so it's definitely a win-win. I've used a few head massagers for migraines and general stress relief, but this is the first one that's not a typical vibration/heat mask that actually directed you to put on your eyes... Usually the airbag/shiatsu models specifically instruct you to *avoid* use over the eyes - for obvious reasons - but or italassage is of course helpful for things like sinus pressure causing headaches, and I was instantly curious how well this one would work - especially for half the price of high end head massagers! It came packaged like other home healthcare products, with everything compactly nestled on a formed plastic insert, with the USB and instructions tucked underneath. The mask comes folded, and takes up way less space than expected; you could easily tuck it in a purse or even jacket pocket for travel. It was already pretty charged on arrival, but I plugged it in to make sure anyway, and it lasted well over an hour from a full charge. Actually using it, I started noticing some issues right away: like many thicker sleep masks, the nose wasn't one size fits all (which makes sense), but the rigid outer case made wearing more uncomfortable pressure-wise. The airbags are nice and do hit where they should without worrying about accidental eye injury, but when releasing make a loud and sudden hiss audible even over max volume. If listening to something soothing, you'll be taken out immediately and regularly thanks to the valve placement. The built-in music is ok, but is grating and too loud, with no way to adjust it. I originally assumed the speakers were lower quality, but was surprised to find they sounded decent when connected to Bluetooth - except they were far too quiet, especially compared to the built in music. Even at max volume, it was difficult to hear, and anything spoken word (like audiobooks) was pointless if there's any background noise. Even in silence, the aforementioned air release drowns out anything played, even if temporarily. Aside from that,.the different modes are nice, and heating even and comfortable; they could definitely improve on .ore.than a few aspects, but charging under $40 you may get more use if you're able to ignore the airbag deflation noises, and have a less than generous nose compared to mine... Honestly, I was not expecting to love this as much as I do! I wear contacts and I work on a computer all day so I feel like my eyes are always stressed out if that makes sense lol.
