Your Grandma—November 14, 2025
Works fine and easy to assemble. I'm an 80+ year-old grandma, and I was able to assemble the feet and casters by myself in less than 10 minutes. Just a couple of notes about its appearance. the thermostat dial knob had no indication of which end of the knob was pointing as your desired setting. as you can see on the photo, I taped a sliver of white electrical tape onto the indicator end of the knob so I can clearly see which the dial is pointing. Also...there's a huge safety sticker right on the front, it doesn't appear on the Amazon listing page or on the box. But there it is all right, as you can see in my photo. Still fine in my living room, radiating even heat all over. I bought it to replace a way more expensive Vornado that blew the hot air into the room -- but the airflow was way too narrow and gave rise to top and cold spots. this new radiator unit isn't as beautiful, but it's much better at doing what I want a living room heater to do. I have a smaller oil-filled radiator in my hallway, doing a great job for years and I'd like to have one in my bedroom, too. but these oil-filled units do get hot to the touch, and there's not enough extra space in the bedroom for me to avoid inadvertently touching it as I go in and out. so I'm going to try a small oscillating heater in there, to replace another big stationary Vornado that leaves hot and cold spots. The space heater works fine. Why do I have to assemble this? Kind of dumb to have to attache the wheels. Read more

These oil filled heaters work great! We live in Florida and most homes use electric heat. My husband and I have allergies and the hot air from the electric heat affects our noses and throats. This heater, even though it's electric, does not. There is no fan to blow the hot air around. An added bonus is our electric bill has been greatly reduced, and the house is always comfortable. Pros: no more sinusitis, lower electric bill and warm house. Cons: haven't found any yet. Read more

Had to replace an older radiator heater I had for twenty years. Looking forward to another. The heat output is great. Nice and cozy. The size is great. Just right. It functions very well. Was a great value for the money!!! Read more

I previously bought a radiator style heater from Walmart for about $30 less than this one and it came pre-assembled and was a LOT hotter on maximum. I have had this one on maximum for hours and it's nowhere near what I got from Walmart years ago. I gave it away ONLY because the apartment that I moved to, according to the property manager, had central air which turned out to not be enough. It was delivered to me damaged with chips in the paint from a dent on one of the radiators and something is loose inside of it on the side that has the working components where the thermostat is. I found that out when I did what the instructions said and turned it upside down to assemble some parts MYSELF. I don't really know of much reason to not assemble the parts at the factory except to save a few dollars on each unit. Like I typed... the heater (radiator type too) that I got from Walmart years ago put out WAY MORE HEAT and was already to be used out of the box. Read more
