I ordered this outlet during Prime day. I’ll say I’m rather impressed, the only thing I dislike about it instead of being labeled an outlet or plug in the Alexa app - it comes up as a switch or light other than that I have no complaints. This product works as advertised 100%. I’m a big fan of Ezviz products. I have seven of their cameras and plan on buying more. The biggest problem people have with hooking up their products is customers don’t read the directions and or there router is unable to handle X amount of products. I have 60 items hooked up to my Wi-Fi and it runs seamlessly. If your device is going offline it might be time to update or replace your router – stop blaming the products! Inlove to be able to control these outlets remotely or on a timer! I already have EZViz cameras around the house so these merged seamlessly intonthe app. The timer function works great, they are easy to add to the app, and they work as expected! I love these things! Read more

Do not buy! We have two different switches from EZVIZ and if you have a power glitch they will not auto reconnect unless you press the button. Well when your not home, and you need to reset whatever is plugged in, it's pointless. Kasa switches are way better. I have EZVIZ cameras and doorbells so I don't dislike this brand but they need to get their act together with the switches. I spoke with support and they blame everything else but the switch, internet, power outage, etc. I have had EZVIZ products for years and all I asked for is a replacement to see if these 2 switches are faulty and they are less than 6 mo old. They just keep getting me to try other things and their tech finally said the our power went out just a little too quickly and that's the reason they wouldn't reconnect. Well WHO CAN CONTROL HOW LONG THE POWER GOES OUT!! THIS IS CRAZY, OWN UP TO THE SWITCHES BEING A PROBLEM AND AT LEAST REPLACE THEM FROM A LONG TIME EZVIZ USER. Read more

There were two big problems with this product. First the directions did not come with the unit so that one has to go out on the internet to find the directions. The directions are in Chinese but can be translated into English. Finding the app was also a problem. The directions were confusing. Plus when I tried to link it to my Alexa, it required that I register on their website. Registration on the website was a problem because it would not accept my telephone number. But, The unit connected to my Wi-Fi anyway. However when I tried to link it to Alexa, the voice commands would not work although the commands worked from within the Alexa app. Not a fun time.
