These are nice jars with tight fitting lids. I ordered them intending to use one as a travel salt cellar. Unfortunately the inside of them has an acrid, chemical smell and I’m afraid to put any thing edible in them. I’d be worried about medications too, a use they were specifically recommended for. I washed them thoroughly with dish soap, soaked them several hours, dried them and filled them with baking soda. None of that helped. I’m sure I can find other uses for them. Read more
