I bought these pens because some of my Sakura microns were running low, and so in the middle of this drawing I switched to Pitt pens, couldn’t be happier! The pitts are definitely darker than the microns and can be used in the same drawing without notice to anyone else. I will continue buying pitts as I find them to be darker and maybe even slightly better quality than microns. But microns aren’t bad. The shipping was very fast and the product was correct but the pen packaging appeared to have been opened and then taped back shut with a lot of tape and an after-market label that said "new". Sort of odd. I like to keep the pens in the original plastic container but this one is covered with adhesive now that i removed the extra. Other than that it is great! Read more
I like these pens a lot! I purchased a black set and these brownish ones. I use them all the time for doodling in a sketch book, and sometimes I use them for other art and craft applications. So far, I haven't had any problems with them, I haven't had any skipping or stopping. I'm a left hand writer, and I haven't had any trouble with smearing - maybe the smearing depends on the surface, too. Read more
