These products (roller and gua sha) are made better than most other companies are making comparable products, and for a price that really can't be beat, and it comes in a wonderful storage box with a pretty presentation. The roller product rolls smoothly and without squeaking, and the rose quartz is beautiful and was finished smoothly with a very shiny exterior. I really did not care for the gua sha as it dragged on my skin even after using moisturizer, even though it also had a shiny-smooth surface. I felt that the dragging was making my skin worse, not better. It could be maybe that all gua shas would do this to some extent, I don't know (and Paula Begoun, the "cosmetics cop" believes that gua shas are damaging to skin for everyone and should never be used). I have been using this product for several months now (the roller). I think it is nice, although I haven't noticed a change in my skin. It does feel great, is relaxing, and makes me feel like I am pampering myself. The smaller side has come loose and falls off every time I use it though (This is after several months of use). I purchased this set for my girlfriend. She's loved it right from the gate. It is packaged nicely, for easy storage, and the implements look strong. I am not a gem expert, but the rose quartz looks authentic. She's used it for a month, and says she can feel her face being rejuvenated each day, now. She said it has increased the circulation is making her skin more elastic, and combatting wrinkle. I tried it on my own face. I noticed it felt cool, and moved smoothly. Afterwards, it felt like my face was filled with blood ( good thing) but I may have been pressing much harder than her. I also tried it on my low back and hips where I get muscle spasms. It seems to help generate more circulation to the injured areas. I do this before using the Rumble Roller and myofascial ball on those areas. It seems to be helping. After each session with the Guy Sha implements, we drink a tall glass of cold water to flush out the toxins that were released. This has been a great purchase for me.
