I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Got this as an Amazon haul deal, so it was by far the cheapest watch band I have ever purchased. I am restoring my mom's old watch collection and it looks great on my watch and so far has held up as well as more expensive, brand name bands. Sewn well, not too stiff, claims to be Genuine Alligator (!), good placement of holes for sizing. The buckle seems durable. Has the EASY attach lever bars, instead of spring pins!!! I did have to remove the nice lever pins to attach to my particular style of watch, but what a nice addition!! Read more

A very nice replacement for my watch. Look and functionality are spot on. I like the locking mechanism, too. Read more

One of the pins was a skosh too short. The quick release clasp still requires the long end to be secured with the loops. Read more

The quick realease watch pins work fine, plus this watch band comes with a tool that can be used to remove standard watch pins or assist folks who have limited dexterity. The simulated alligator surface texture of this thin leather is ok looking, but a bit too shiny for my taste. The outer leather may be a verneer, but I can't tell by non-destructive means. The strap is rather long, quite a bit too long for my average diameter 6ft male wrist. One watch band strap holder loop for retaining the perforated hole section of the strap is bondedly attached adjacent to the buckle. The watch band has a second, freely movable retaining loop on the buckle segment of the strap that can be used to hold the flapping end of the hole bearing strap section, but it is a nuisance to position this loop into a position that will keep the free end of the strap next to the band (versus sticking up and out away from the wrist), and there is nothing keep this freely moving loop from creeping back out of position. Hence the free movable loop must be repositioned and readjusted every time the watch is put on my wrist, and sometimes even after that. In summary, this watch band looks ok, and even looks nice when the freely moving strap retainer loop is in a position to hold the freely moving end portion of the strap against the buckle bearing segment. The need to frequetly adjust/readjust the loop is a drawback, and overall this strap seems a bit expensive in proportion to its features and quality. Read more
