Excellent for pull up assist and various other exercises

I finally found a good product that will work after trying two others. The bands work so much better. It is so simple to set up and can be used for various exercises. I was primarily interested in pull up assist and this was cheaper, seems really durable and has various sizes of bands. It doesn’t swing you forward and allows you to perform a pull up with good form. due to a surgery I haven’t been able to do pull ups but this will gradually get me there. Read more

Perfect for building strength in arms

I have been trying to strengthen my shoulder since an injury. But, as a 50 something woman, I lack the strength and ability to do a pullup. I like this!

I couldn't do a pull up to save my life. The last time I did one was about 45 years ago in elementary school for the Presidential Fitness Requirement. Those of you who are old enough will remember that. I have been using the purple band for two days now and I can't do a pull up yet but I can get much further off the ground than I could three days ago and I can see that even from the first day to the second, there has been significant improvement so I know I will be successful soon. Assistance drops-off higher in the pull up

Like all other resistance band devices, this gives maximum assistance at the bottom of your pull-up --- very little boost near the top. The assistance varies with band extension. I weigh 200lb, and routinely do 15 reps 150 lb lat pull-downs at the gym. However, I needed to use all 4 of these bands together to complete pull ups. Also, there is no foot harness, so quick band wear is likely, where you step. I chose to wrap all four bands at footstep, so that they are bundled. Also, useful to attach hanger several inches above your pull-up bar, to maintain some "boost" at the top of your pull-up. Use of the bands for other exercises, with door jam, seem to work pretty well. Read more
