The media could not be loaded. I have to say that this tripod has just blown me away in terms of its quality, usability, and value. This tripod strikes the perfect balance between being a compact, lightweight travel model while still being extremely sturdy. Many other travel tripods are either so lightweight that they sacrifice stability, or so stable that they weigh a ton and never actually get used. I own a Three Legged Things Punks Travis and after five years of using it I upgraded to this Falcam - I will never go back. By comparison this tripod is half a pound lighter, much easier to use, and much more stable in the field. Here are a few of my favorite things about the awesome design of this tripod: 1. The ballhead on this tripod is a masterclass in usability. It has adjustments for panning, tilting the ballhead, releasing the plate, and my favorite, a knob for adjusting the tension of the ballhead when released. I've never seen that before and I won't buy a tripod without it from here on out - it is absolutely a game changer when it comes to keeping large wildlife lenses from tipping when the ballhead is released. The ballhead had no issues holding up a large wildlife lens! 2. The center column is triangular, allowing the similarly-triangular legs to fold tightly up into the center for travel. This tripod is almost half the diameter of my previous tripod because of this one design choice. I can almost wrap my fingers around the tripod - it is just that compact, yet the leg sections are all thicker and more stable than my Three Legged Things tripod. At the base of the center column is a hook with a hidden allen-key and flathead on it that fit the included quick-disconnect plate. Want to save half a pound of weight? The center column disassembles into two parts without any tools and the lower half can be left at home before a long hike. 3. This thing is FAST to set up. The lower leg sections are circular and have rotating knobs to lock them into place. My current tripod has a similar design, but takes multiple turns to loosen and tighten each leg section. The Falcam's legs require just a third of a turn to loosen or tighten each leg. Setup takes seconds and I've not had any issues locking the legs down just as easily. The legs also can quickly be spread out for low-to-the-ground shooting. 4. The materials used are top-notch. Points that experience leverage or strain are all made of metal and really robust. The rubber feet are a hard but grippy rubber that works great, and tough metal feet are hidden beneath them. The carbon fiber doesn't easily scratch and feels wonderful in the hand. If you live in a cold climate, you'll know how miserable it is to use a metal tripod in the winter. That will never be an issue here! 5. Repairability! What I didn't expect is that included with this tripod, besides a nice neoprene carrying case, were two bags of spare parts. I have literally shipped my Three Legged Thing tripod from the US to the UK for simple repairs. Never again! Falcam includes spare shims for all of the legs so you can make repairs and service this tripod yourself for years to come. I really can't say enough here. I am beyond impressed and feel that this tripod is an excellent value overall. So much so that I made a video explaining more of what I love about it. I'm a happy photographer and happy to spread the Falcam gospel! Read more

The Falcam TreeRoot Tripod has exceeded my expectations in every way. The build quality is excellent—sturdy, lightweight, and very well-engineered. It’s incredibly stable even with heavier setups, yet compact enough to carry around without hassle. The locking mechanisms feel secure, and adjusting angles is quick and smooth. I especially appreciate how versatile it is for both photography and videography. It handles my Canon gear with ease and gives me confidence in different shooting environments. On top of that, their customer service is outstanding—very diligent, responsive, and always quick to answer questions or provide support. That level of service really adds value to the product. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a professional-quality tripod backed by a reliable company! Read more

The media could not be loaded. First things first, this tripod is built for professionals. I've owned 5 other tripods over the years but this is by far the highest quality tripod I've owned. I love the Falcam quick release system because it makes it super easy to move my camera between tripod, gimbal, shoulder strap etc. in seconds without having to worry about whether I have the right plate so adding this to my kit has been amazing. It's lightweight but still very strong so it holds big telephoto lenses no problem and it extends to eye level height at the highest settings so it's great for filming content of myself but folds down to be easy to travel with. Easily fits in carry-ons or in tripod holders on camera bags which is perfect for all the traveling I do. Love Falcam products and absolutely recommend this tripod! Read more

This tripod impressed me from the moment I set it up. It’s lightweight, easy to open, and locks into place exactly the way you want it to. Having something this solid and this high quality in my kit is honestly a relief. The ball head is one of my favorite parts because the movement is buttery smooth and predictable. A huge win for me is the compatibility. The head snaps in different tripod plates without any drama, not just their F38 system. Since I move between my gimbal and tripod pretty often, being able to pop things on and off without thinking about it is a massive convenience. I can’t even think of anything I’d want to improve here. It feels like a tripod I’ll use for years. And on top of that, the seller deserves credit too. My first unit had a small issue and they handled it quickly, professionally, and without any hassle. Great product, great service, and absolutely worth recommending. Read more

The media could not be loaded. One of the many things I love about this tripod is the locking mechanism for the legs. 1/3rd screw on making these really easy to adjust on the go. Where you just turn 1/3rd of the way, and it deploys right away. Feels natural when you unscrew the legs. The center column is pretty thin, Triangular design, and it’s hard aluminum but has a grey colored bit. The other thing that I love about this tripod and what’s really really important with tripods are the ball heads. No matter what plate you have on camera, it will latch onto. If it’s the F38 plate, peak design plate, or any Arca-Swiss compatibles, if you already have a cage. What I do, I already have my camera in a cage and an F38 plate on the side to make it landscape, quick release, then portrait. This ball head acts like a normal tripod. There’s a pan lever and the main ball head latch. The pan lever is important so you can cover all angles. Build quality is solid! Read more
