This is authentic walnut wood. I was apprehensive at first. My fear was that it was pine stained to the color of walnut. I thought the wood stain would come off on my wrists and wear over time. Turns out this is a genuine chunk of walnut! Worth the $20. I laser engraved my logo onto it and it revealed that it’s 100% walnut to the core. Elegant solution. Perfectly comfortable. Way less corny than those squishy wrist rests from the 2000’s. Nice rubber gaskets on the bottom to keep it from slipping. Does not move while in typing. The exact right size for supporting your wrist on a full size Keychron keyboard. I’m using it with a P6 Ultra. But it would fit any full size Keychron keyboard. Read more
I love this wrist rest. It doesn't have an annoying angle, the rubber feet actually hold it in place, and if the wood is a veneer then I sure can't tell, because it looks and feels just like actual wood. If you've got a very wide keyboard (e.g. includes numpad) then be aware this might not cover the entire length, though. Definitely measure it out against your setup before buying. So far, having used this for a while, it feels completely solid, nothing about this screams low quality, and I'd say it's worth it for what it costs. Honestly, I purchased this because it was the only item available for next-day delivery. I wanted to choose the black color, but again, only the walnut version was available for fast shipping. Despite that, it’s great for the price. It’s sturdy, lightweight, and provides good wrist support. I’ve used wooden and gel/foam wrist rests before, which initially felt nice and cushioned, but they’re not easy to maintain or keep clean and hygienic compared to wood. The only downside is that the rubber stopper on the bottom doesn’t really do its job. With a little force, it slides easily across the surface and doesn’t hold its position well. Most of the time, the keyboard prevents it from moving, but when you’re typing a lot, it tends to shift slightly away from the keyboard. Read more
