I’ve been using this dust cover for my PS5 Slim Disc version, and it’s hands-down the best solution I’ve found for protecting the console while it’s upright. Unlike other dust covers designed mainly for horizontal setups or different models, this one fits perfectly with just the right amount of wiggle room for easy sliding on and off. The cover features a small Velcro closure at the bottom to secure it if needed, though I usually leave it loose for quick access. It comes with five reusable filters and extra Velcro stickers, which is a nice bonus—even if I personally don’t use the filters to avoid restricting airflow during gameplay. The material is thick yet soft, with excellent stitching and durable craftsmanship that gives me confidence this cover will last. It’s thick enough to offer solid dust protection but thoughtfully designed so it doesn’t interfere with cable connections or airflow. This dust protector does what it is intended to do absolutely perfectly. Prior to utilizing it, there was a significant amount of buildup on the top and in the rear vents, now there's barely any build of any kind at all. For me, the dust protection is about 90-95%, I do have pets so this may likely be why. I also use a fan nearly all seasons of the year. It's incredibly easy to install, open it, slide it over - you're done. It's a neat yet simple, practical cover, and it works well, just not perfect. One thing that always bugged me was how the top of the Playstation 5 is just so open, like they don't expect houses to have dust. Anyway, this is a great solution. It fits perfectly, and is so easy to slip over the system. The design is simple, which I really like. Feels like a pretty good quality cover, too. For the money, it's not bad. Should save money on overheating fixes down the road too by preventing dust building up in the machine. I definitely recommend getting one. Read more
I think it's a good idea, but I don't believe I'd buy it again. It will, for sure, protect your system from dirt and dust, but the outside cover is so thick that I worry it'll trap all the heat the system radiates when in use. Additionally, as the description states, it is designed for the PS5 Slim, so if you have the original standard system, it will NOT fit. It comes with 5 filters, 5 velcro stickers, and one cover. Up until now, I've just been using a folded tapestry to cover my PS5 from dust--most of the dust covers are designed for horizontal setups, or for other models. This one is the PERFECT solution for an upright PS5 Slim Disc Version! It slides right on, with a small velcro at the bottom should you need to secure it. I just slide mine on loose to keep the dust from getting in, and it comes right off when I'm ready to play. It's the perfect size, with just a little bit of wiggle room to make it easy to fit. It even comes with filters, although I don't care to use them (I don't like to restrict the system's airflow while it's on). The cover is well-made, with great stitching and a good material. This cover protects my son's digital PS5 slim model from dust. It needs to be removed when he's playing on it, but because he tucks it behind his computer monitor, it's harder to dust it. The cover eliminates that need. The fabric of the cover is nice looking and it's soft with a bit of padding. Read more
