The media could not be loaded. I was looking for something to mount my PS5 on the wall - IKEA sells shelfs but they stick out and does not offer a “clean” wall mount look. I happened to find this item to review and it is a great product that doesn’t break the bank. Look at my images of it mounted; I just need to better clean up the wiring mess I have but it is fantastic to have it sitting not on my desk taking up space but on the wall. I have a DISC version so I did not need to use the PS5 horizontal stand attachment but with it mounted on the wall, there is still some wobble (see video I’ve attached). But it does not affect the stability of the PS5 on the wall due to the screw you use to secure the bottom of the PS5 to the mount bottom bracket. I’ve attached it to a wall stud for extra security and the best thing about having it on the wall higher up is I do not get to hear that stupid PS5 coil whine noise coming from the internal PSU anymore! It is high and away (not leveled) with my ears so I do not hear it at all. I have it mounted with the PS5 logo showing which also pushes the side of the internal PSU against the wall further reducing the coil whine noise. I play on my desktop so it use to sit really close and at ear level so it was a real annoyance. You’ll notice in the video there is tiny bit of play but I believe tolerance is given so you can properly mount it against any wall textured (brick) or painted. My A/V equipment is mounted on an eye-level shelf, which keeps my kiddo from being able to get to the PS5 if she wants a game on disc or to watch a movie. Problem solved. This is just a single piece of steel carefully bent to hold a PS5 in place. No trick, not fuss, no unnecessary accessories to "add value". Just a functional mounting kit. Installation is really simple. Find a stud, mark where you want to hang it, drill a pilot hole, and hang the bracket from a single hole. Then use a level and mark the rest of the holes, drill them, and screw in the... screws. Four screws into a stud feels plenty sturdy. (It includes drywall anchors, but I'd avoid hanging $500 of electronics from drywall.) Finally, you literally slide the PS5 into place, facing either direction, and drive the included security screw into the bottom of the console through the bracket. If you ignore this step you're gonna lose a ton of money as the bracket is secure but not snug. I'm really, really happy with this solution. The PS5 looks weird floating on the wall, but it's cool. You'll need to think about cable management if you don't wanth them very visible, but that's a small price to pay for the convenience of having your PS5 locked down out of the way. Made in China. This wall mount works with both disc and digital versions of the PS5, with the difference being whether or not you use the original spacer. It’s really simple to install, just center and screw-in. Relatively lightweight, just slide in the PS5 after mounting. There’s an included screw to keep the console from sliding back out. I like the minimalist look overall, but the fit isn’t as secure as it could be. Overall, get it if you want the look and no fuss install. Read more

I have tried other mounts for my PS5; underneath desk mounts, sideways wall mounts, etc. This one seems to be the winning mount for its simplicity, and ease of installation. Just find a stud and follow mounting directions. However, what was different in my case is that I installed this mount in an RV, so finding a stud was a little more difficult, and the mount needs to withstand high vibration when the RV is in motion. Therefore I had to use a unique installation process. What I needed was for my PS5 to be simply and securely attached to the wall, and this was exactly that. I comes with some mounting options, but you may want to research how to mount in your specific living situation. I'm not totally sure I'd rely on the supplied mounting hardware to attach a nearly $1000 piece of equipment to the wall. Read more

This is a great mount. I like it because I hate having entertainment centers, I feel like they just collect crap. This holds the PS5 up nice and securely and was easy to do. We had one for our PS4 as well and it was great because we mounted it behind our tv and no one saw it. This one is not behind the tv but it still looks good. I highly recommend it! Read more

Black in color and nice heavy duty metal to hold up the console. I think this can only be install Horizontally though and not parallel as the console could risk falling out of the holster since it kind of slides in once installed. Also worrisome is the metal scratching your console so be easy when putting the system in the holster. But overall a great way to showcase your Ps5 Read more
