I upgraded from a logitech 923 wheel. Wow, what a difference! Works out of the box with ps5 and gt7. Just make sure you plug it into a quality, high current capable power strip or directly into the wall socket. For me the 5nm of force feedback is plenty, at least for now. The wheel is upgradable to 8nm with a different power supply. The driving realism is superb, when force feedback is maxed out you feel every bump and different road dynamics, uphill...downhill at a turn etc, ensuring great game play. I am very happy with this purchase, Fanatec is the best. Read more

Like a lot of people I started with a Logitech G923 setup which worked well, but was looking for more. I also ran into the issue of wanting one wheel that I could use for both Xbox and PS5. This setup along with a Xbox compatible steering wheel was the answer. It has much better feedback and feels more realistic than my old setup. I also appreciate the small screen on the wheel to show speed along with the shift lights like my old G923 had. The included pedals are nice, I do recommend something to stiffen the brake up a bit. I read and watched enough reviews to know what I was getting, huge improvement on the thrustmaster t300 I've been using for a few years. Hasn't made me much faster but it the feel is better and you really do catch spins more. Note, it doesn't come with mounting bolts, I knew, but wouldn't be happy if I hadn't done any research. Well boxed, relatively simple to set up. The wheel rim feels small and a little 'budget', but I always planned to buy a new wheel rim. Oh, and buy the 8nm power brick! Read more

RAPID DEGRADATION: Symptoms: Force feedback detail suffers catastrophic fade after extremely short sessions (3 laps / <10 minutes). Context: Unit is housed in an optimal, active-airflow environment (68°F). It is not an climate based overheating scenario. MECHANICAL INTEGRITY: Audible Failure: Unit emits consistent creaking sounds during rotation. Lock-Up: Wheel frequently seizes and becomes physically unmovable during the degradation phase. THE "SNAP" HAZARD (Confirmed on Multiple Profiles): The Incident: The steering wheel intermittently disconnects from the physics engine ("floats" with zero resistance) for approx. 15 seconds, followed immediately by a violent, uncommanded "snap" of high torque. Universal Failure: This behavior has been documented across two distinct user profiles, proving the defect is internal and independent of settings: SET 1 ("The Dad Set" - High Load): Occurs under high-load racing conditions. SET 5 ("The Mom Set" - Low/Delicate Load): CRITICAL INDICATOR. While operating on this low-force setting (Power Steering Mode), the unit exhibited the same "Floating" disconnect followed by a violent, uncommanded high-torque snap. Conclusion: The defect is internal to the hardware logic/sensor array and occurs regardless of user settings. We quickly learned not to wrap our fingers and thumbs around the wheel as having our thumbs in there would have been a safety hazard. Read more

This is an amazing upgrade from the Logitech G923 that I was using ( which was also a really good product). I'm only using it as it came out of the box currently. I can't imagine what it will be like when I upgrade from the 5nm feedback to the 8nm! Read more
