Doesn’t tangle in my fine hair. I ordered the one inch barrel which is perfect for sort hair. 3 temperature settings and the middle setting works great. Smoothed your hair and makes it shiny which is something I didn’t get with the heated brush with bristles. It’s also small enough to fit in makeup table drawer. This is a great little tool. As my hair is shorter this year my current curler was not achieving the results I wanted. This little gem heats quickly and the size makes it so easy to handle and makes the job much more manageable. The quality is great, so far, and the 3/4 “ barrel is perfect! Would recommend for anyone but if you’re a little older and your dexterity is lacking, this is perfect. Read more
This works well and is effective in curling my hair. I like that it has three heat levels. My problem with it is that it is so compact, my hair gets tangled when I use it - even though my hair is cut just below my ears. This is especially problematic when my hair is even a little bit wet. Good for travel when a minimum of curling is required. Read more
Excellent for baby fine shoulder length hair! I tried one with a larger barrel and the curl fell right out. All I need is something to turn my ends under without cooking the hair like curling irons do. Only had to hold it in place for a couple of seconds and it worked great. What kind of amazed me is how long the curl held. I have always struggled with trying to curl my baby fine hair, wish I had had one of these years ago. Read more
This product is well made and an excellent size for especially short to medium length hair, and will probably do a good job of curling or even softly straightening hair (not as pronounced as a regular flat iron). Another plus is heat is adjustable and the bristles kind of create a little air space between your hair and the heat of the barrel so your hair doesn't get fried like it sometimes can with a flat iron. However, if your hair is long enough to completely wrap around the barrel, you'll get the curl, but unwinding your hair is difficult cause the hair gets tangled in the barrel, even with short hair. I’m going to keep trying to master this, but maybe someone more proficient than me will have better luck and can maybe offer a suggestion as to how to use this product more effectively because it is a very good product for its purpose. I was not sure what to expect with this hair iron as there were some negative reviews. However - I found it was absolutely perfect. I needed a hot brush to take to Greenland - so needed to ensure it was dual control. Its small - it heats up very quickly - and not overly hot - and manages to curl hair under in minutes. I was very impressed. You must use on dry hair only - not while your hair is wet. Love it - and would completely recommend. My hair is a 'bob' shape so not very short - but definitely not long. Works good for short hair but has a tendency to get stuck if you wrap too tight. Only use low heat (fortunately has adjustable settings) as it can singe your hair if heat too high. Good price Read more
