I love this mini barrel. It works very well and my hair held up all day (in conjunction with sea salt spray afterwards). Very speedy and perfect amount of heat. I’d still recommend using heat protection as a precaution. Seems durable and is easy to use. Overall, great value!! Read more
The barrels are about 3” long. So it’s a smaller curling iron. Easy to maneuver for a teen learning. Quality metal not cheap. Takes about 1 minute for heating speed. Read more
UPDATE: I still love it. I always washed my hair at least every other day because it was so stringy. Well, I now go 4 or 5 days between washes because these waves just relax into gentle wavy texture and lovely body that needs no further styling until the next wash. This waver has given me the hair I've always wanted and never thought I would have, plus saves me all the time I used to spend struggling with my hair every day. I wish I'd known about this tool years ago. If you have limp stringy hair, I highly recommend this item! I'm so glad I came across this little hair waver. I was ready to try a standard sized one, but glad I didn't. I have fairly short hair and small hands, so this one is easy to use. I've never had luck with curling irons getting any curl to last in my fine, straight, limp hair. But these waves last and last. I've now slept on them 2 nights and I still have some wavy body right down to my roots! Finally something easy that creates body and lift that lasts! So thrilled to have found this! Read more
Heats up quickly. It's compact and great for travel. It works phenomenally. I usually wear My hair in a braid for a day after I wash it. I sleep on it that night. Then when I wake up and I take the braid out. I use the three barrel curling iron on the parts of my hair that are not already crimpy. It cuts down the crimping time by like 40 minutes. Usually, I only need to crimp the 4 in from my roots and the sides. My hair is a little more on the medium to thin side so this smaller curling iron works just fine for my needs. I have used a Hot Tools three barrel curling iron for 10 plus years. This is my first three barrel curling iron that is not Hot Tools brand. I am very impressed. It is a quarter of the cost and so worth it. Read more
Good job waving, but the wand has zero protection from heat on the outside of the barrels. I have singed my fingers, scalp & ear while learning to use the curler. Description says for short hair but it’s really difficult not to get burned trying to wave a pixie cut. This would most likely work easier for med length hair. But on the positive, the waves are cute! Read more
This crimper works great. Kiddos hair is very fine and only shoulder length so wanted a "mini: This is actually bigger than what I thought a mini should be, but it worked out perfectly! We get so many compliments. Read more
