I really like these sheets. They are SO COMFY COZY! I have to contend with nerve pain, and these sheets help me relax and sleep better than almost anything. They don't get 5 stars though, because it's important to never put them in the dryer. Any type of faux fur will clump, pill, and shed, if you do. These sheets are no different. They launder well on a cold water gentle cycle in the washer, but if you don't hang them up to dry slowly, you will lose the softness of them. Even drying ust once in the dryer will change the texture, forever. Laundering them therefore becomes a 24-hour process, as they have to be hung to dry overnight. I have the space to do this indoors, but it's also preferable to hang them outdoors, where sunlight can dry them faster and with better sanitation. This might not be feasible for apartment dwellers? When I hang them up indoors in winter, it is a chilly, damp process and can take even longer if it's rainy. I sometimes hang them up and then put an electric radiator nearby so they dry a little faster. This isn't as energy efficient as a dryer, and certainly not as energy efficient as sunlight! It can be frustrating to have to wait so long until you can remake the bed with them, when they are your favorite sheets and you don't want to sleep on anything else. They do fit the mattress great, and I've had no trouble with seams or construction. But I do treat them pretty gently. If and when the fur starts to mat, there is almost no way to comb or brush it out, without pulling the fur out of the weave. The extra care they need still suits me, so I am happy with my purchase. Just be prepared to go the extra mile with these, to preserve the silky softness of the faux fur, otherwise you will end up with clumpy, bumpy, flattened mats of faux fur, which lose their softness and appeal. Keeping them soft and silky really helps with pain, insomnia, or sensory issues though. I do really enjoy sleeping on them. The length of time they take to launder, not so much. I should probably get multiple sets so I can rotate them out, but it's also hard for me to justify the costs on a fixed income, so I make do best I can with them. TL/DR: They are worth it, and they feel wonderful to sleep on, but only if you are willing to take care of them by laundering them gently, and allowing them to air dry, slowly. It's soft, it's fuzzy, and it's warm. Overall, it's pretty nice. The reason it didn't get five stars is because the top sheet is a different shade of red than the fitted sheet and pillow cases, and it's off just enough that it's actually distracting.
