Bought this for a couple of old style Whirlpool water filters that I finally got around to installing. Had to tap the water filters in the four places on top but when I did this ingeniously designed bracket fit perfectly. Although the bracket is a little thinner than I expected, it is plenty strong. It must be really hard stainless steel because I am trying to drill it with Bosch Cobalt bits and cutting oil. It is taking a long time with my hand drill. I'm adding a hole in the center of the 4 keyholes in the vertical portion of the bracket because it is being installed in a moving vehicle and I don't want to take a chance that it ever bounces out of the keyholes, hence the 5th screw hole which will keep it from sliding up. Also note that the design of the key holes means that the vertical part of the bracket MUST be oriented upwards so keep that in mind if space is tight. And buy plenty of sharp cobalt bits. Nothing else is likely to even scratch it. Really tough to drill SS. Read more

One of the nicest choices for sale in Amazon for keeping your water filter canisters, basically fits most brands. Would be nice to have them on black as an option to go with most filter cap color, which is black. Also. If screws were included it would have had a better valued item. Read more

Very nice product, seems to be Universal fit, as I had no idea holes in bracket would line up properly with the filter housing I purchased. Holds my filter housing, piping, along with a brass spin down filter filled with water with no problem. Even has a notched area for pressure relief button that many filter housing have. Very good! This bracket is sturdy and worked perfectly with a Pentek 5 inch housing. After almost a year on a boat there is no signs of rust. In a marine environment with the smaller housing, I feel there is plenty of strength. I would not use this with anything larger unless it was a stationary environment. Read more
