My partner is a big shorts fan when the weather is warm, and I ordered him this pair to replace an old one of similar fabric and style that had worn out. He wears an XL typically, and this Feiersi brand fits him well in that size. The material is lightweight, perfect for hot summer days, and he likes that the shorts have a standard button and zipper fly in addition to the drawstring and stretch waistband, so they fit comfortably, hitting above the knee (which looks current and classy, unlike the longer style of men’s shorts that have gone out of fashion). The grey color I ordered is neutral and attractive and will go with most of his shirts. One thing that stands out about these shorts is the zippered pockets - a feature he likes in shorts as to keep his wallet in place. One back pocket has a zipper (the other a button) as well as a bonus zippered side pocket, which will be perfect for storing keys. In addition, there are two standard side pockets, one with a mini pouch within for small items. These casual shorts are lightweight, comfortable, and exactly what I’d want for everyday summer wear. They feel noticeably better constructed than a lot of inexpensive clothing I’ve bought online, which was a pleasant surprise. The elastic waistband is snug and firm without feeling uncomfortable. It doesn’t have a lot of excessive stretch, which I personally like—it feels more secure and higher quality. The drawstring is simple, but it does the job. The 5" inseam is true to length and works perfectly for the beach, casual outings, or warm-weather wear. These are not workout or high-intensity athletic shorts, and I wouldn’t use them for that purpose. That said, they’re perfectly fine for lighter activities like hiking, long walks, or even light jogging. For sizing reference, I ordered a Large and typically wear a 34 in jeans. The fit is spot-on without needing to stretch the waistband. I’d say a Large would comfortably fit up to about a 36, while anyone 38 or above would likely want to size up to an XL. Read more

Not what I would consider a true 5” short, but its got a longer crotch, that could distort what I expect with a 5” short. Fit: these make it down to just above my knee, which as a 6’1” man, a 5” inseam should hit mid thigh. Waistband is comfortable, with a snap and drawstring. I will say I feel as though the way the waistband is constructed makes these feel like the target audience for these are 60 year old men playing pickle ball getting ready to yell at young people about not working hard enough. One thing I didnt particularly care for, and think is important, it says to not dry these in the dryer. I immediately ran these through a normal wash and dryer and it worked out just fine. Now, I don’t dry anything on high heat, but I have a sneaking suspicion that at higher temps there may be issues with the button being metal and the fabric being essentially nylon, and I may yolo this so you don’t have to. This is a fantastic pair of shorts at such an affordable price! The material is soft, smooth, and lightweight, and they are extremely comfortable. The fit is well measured and practical, providing comfortable range of motion. It consists of two front pockets, with a hidden zipper pocket located near the right front pockets, and also has two back pockets, one with a zipper and one with a button. The waist fastens with a button and has a zipper fly. The waistband is elastic and has belt loops as well as a drawstring. The front right belt loop also has an attached utility ring. These shorts fit a little above the knee and have a nice casual look. The overall quality feels good, and they’re comfortable for everyday or summer wear. However, the stitching could be better. In a few areas it doesn’t seem very secure, and there were loose or hanging threads, with some spots that looked missed. The zipper also had a loose string caught in it, which was a bit of an issue—but once removed, the zipper worked fine. I’m not fully sure how durable they’ll be after washing, but so far they’re comfortable and wearable. I’ll update with a follow-up review after some wear and washes. Read more
