The first thing I noticed is that they run a bit on the larger side, which actually works in their favor if comfort is high on your priority list. The looser fit makes them easy to wear all day without feeling constricted, perfect for lounging at home, running errands, or even dressing up for a casual outing. I ordered them in the black-and-white print, which is just the right amount of abstract, playful without veering into “optical illusion” territory. The pattern is versatile enough to pair with just about any solid-colored top, meaning you can create a new, adorable outfit every time without much effort. Think of them as the low maintenance friend in your wardrobe who always makes you look and feel good. Now, about the length: these pants are long. Not just “a little extra fabric pooling at the ankle” long, but “if I wore them as intended, they’d sweep the floor and maybe mop it for me” long. They’re also high-waisted, which I usually love, but in this case, to get the hem off the ground, I’d have to hike them so far past my waist I’d risk starting a new fashion trend called “torso overalls.” I will be hemming them, this is the reason for only four stars. I was excited to get these because they looked really cute online. My feelings quickly changed upon receiving them. First of all, they're very thick and heavy polyester. They are incredibly shiny. They look and feel like my grandma's curtains from 1975, and not in a cool vintage way. The craftsmanship is horrendous. There are loose threads everywhere. The waistband is single stitched (an obvious sign of clothing made cheaply and will not last)...as well as the fact they are also see through. I would not wear these outside my house, nor will I probably be able to sleep in them because they're very rough inside and not breathable in the least. The patterns do not line up (another indicator of poor quality). I washed them on cold/delicates cycle with some fabric softener, and let them hang dry. They did not shrink but they weren't any softer. These are not a good value, they're ugly, poorly made and uncomfortable. If you do risk ordering these, they at least do run true to size and have some stretch, but the waistband leaves a lot to be desired. Read more

These were quite large on me. I ordered my normal size of XL being 5'6", 175# and the inseam went halfway to my knees. In order to correct that, I had to hootch them way up above my waist and ribs. Also, they were so very long -- too long. If I had ordered a size smaller I'm sure they would have been more comfortable and fit correctly. They're very stretchy, the color is a true black, and the quality of the material is acceptable. I definitely have become a sweatpants/loungewear person over the past few years, and these pants are the truth. They are a nice thin material, very flowy and loose. I wear them for walking and exercising as well as to work as dress pants. They look great and could be dressed up or down. I got them in black because that is my go-to color. I love these pants! They are loose and flowy, but not overly so that you look heavier than you are. They have an elastic waist with a drawstring and pockets! It's a perfect black color, and the fabric is medium-weight, so it's not see-through and does hold some shape. I got the medium as suggested by Amazon and by my hip measurement (~40"). My waist is larger than the medium, but it was still very comfortable in the waist and hips. For those who need the inseam length (as I do, not the full length), the medium is about 28" (see my listing). I typically like 30", but these are good with flats or sandals. (I'm 5'7") They wash well, and I hung them to dry. I shook them out a bit after drying to loosen the fabric. These will be great to travel with, as they are very neutral —good for the actual travel day, out at night, or sightseeing during the day. For the price--they're a great deal! Read more

These are definitely comfortable pants, and because this style has an elastic waist, it's easy to adjust to your size. However, those pants legs are most definitely wide and the leg length is long. I am just under 5 ft 5 in these days and they are way too long for me. Hemming them is easy, but keep in mind that's a lot of fabric to hem. The fabric itself is soft, but it feels durable. Construction is good. These are built for comfort and they definitely deliver in that category. If you want to wear them for work, you should try on a number of different shirts, blouses, and jackets with these pants until you find a look that you like. This is a style that can look very different depending on what you pair it with, making all the difference between you looking frumpy or you looking polished. If you wear this with an oversized top, you're going to add more than a few pounds to your appearance. But pair it with a fitted top or tight t-shirt and you will look good. I will say that these would probably be a great option for someone who travels a lot. They wrinkle very little and what wrinkles they have are not visible and come out easily by tumbling them in the dryer with a wet washcloth. Read more
