It's like a platform loader and a boot had a baby. These are unique and I like them.. I wore them with jeans and they look like a platform loader when wearing them with jeans. My longer flares went great with them. I got lots of compliments on them. I got these because I hadn't ever seen anything like them before and I wasn't sure how they would look. They wound up looking great though and I'm sure I'll be wearing these alot more often than even expected. I will say that they are a bit hard to put on at first until you do up the laces yourself. The laces weren't done up in such a way when I first got them that favored them being put on well. I like that they have a look to them that looks like a buckle loafer but they have the ankle support of a boot. The leather they're done with has a nice feel to it and it has good quality. The laces too. The platform is nice and chunky as well..they're just nicely done all the way around and I like that each boot came with its own dust bag as well.
