They are very shiny and I wear a size 7 and got a size 8 and they fit ok. They’re not extremely too big. The leg circumference is 12 inches so if you’re worried about it measure your shin to make sure it will fit properly. They’re made well and everything on it like they buckles and zipper and studs on the back are sturdy and don’t seem like they will come off easily. The fabric will get scuffed or scratched easily.
