Beautiful color rendition. But the real plus for me is reading. The words seem to jump off the page. I find 4000K irritating after a while. 3000k just misses the mark. No issues with the product. Suggestion; make SURE the power is off when you install this bulb. Mine was not, and with incandescent it's not an issue. With LEDs, it will fry them immediately! Totally my fault, but thought it was worth sharing. Read more

Purchased 3 of these for a lighting fixture in the bathroom on 12/15/18 because of how affordable they are. Being used sparingly for a bathroom application, one of them failed today. Given the price, they are just okay - don't expect anything great. Edit: I contacted Feit with my invoice and they promptly shipped a replacement no questions asked under warranty and received a replacement within a week. Changed review from 3 to 4 stars. Read more

Update: these bulbs were $3ish when I first started purchasing them. Now they are double that price. The newer bulbs do seem to last a little longer (about 2 years). I’m probably going to start searching to see if any other companies are finally offering bulbs with this color temperature. I’ve been using this bulbs for about 5 years because they are the prefect temperature for my needs. Each bulb last aprox 6-12 months, with 8-9 months being the average usage I get for them. I have 4 bulbs in an overhead light. I keep repurchasing because of the color temp. But I wish they lasted longer and were a bit brighter. But thankfully they are cheap, so I will keep purchasing for now. Read more
Our enclosed bathroom fan light quickly burns out conventional 800 lumen LED bulbs (I would love a 100 lumen if it could fit!). This one was small enough to fit with ease and gives out a generous amount and pleasant color (3500 K, white) of light. Read more
