If your router combines 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz into one network, you may need to split the bands so you can connect the lights specifically to 2.4 GHz. In most routers, this is found in the WiFi or Wireless settings section of the router app or web dashboard. I also had to confirm the security was set to WPA2 and adjust the 2.4 GHz advanced settings so the connection stayed stable, including locking the channel bandwidth to 20 MHz instead of auto. These options are usually located under Advanced WiFi or Advanced Wireless settings. Once those settings were adjusted, the lights have worked flawlessly without disconnects. These bulbs connect through 2.4 GHz WiFi, and once I confirmed that during setup the connection has been very reliable. On rare occasions the bulbs stop syncing, but a quick reset fixes it. Keeping the network name the same made the transition seamless, and no resets were needed. If the WiFi name is changed on the AT&T router, switching the lights to a new network is still very easy through the Feit app. Another option that worked well for me was enabling the Guest WiFi through the AT&T router’s Advanced WiFi settings. I adjusted the Guest WiFi settings under the WiFi section and used it as a dedicated 2.4 GHz network for smart devices. Once enabled, the lights connected quickly and stayed stable. If you also use Feit smart plugs, keeping the same WiFi name and password or using a dedicated Guest WiFi network is especially helpful since it allows them to reconnect automatically. I currently have about 9 of these bulbs in my apartment, and they are actually pretty amazing tbh. Im glad i bought them, but i didnt buy all of them from amazon just my last one. I highly recommend these, the app is easy to group lights but i wish it worked with Siri. Dont leave them on for more than a week straight as it causes them to have connection issues. great for hang outs, or being able to dim lights for movies. they are def on the cheaper quality side Read more

For years I have avoided LED bulbs in favor of incandescent because I need the warmer hues or I have migraines. My partner bought these bulbs for a room I rarely use and I was surprised to find that I can tolerate the light they produce. The app is finicky, but has a lot of options. I had one evening where I had to reinstall the app because it kept deleting the lights from the menu options after they had been turned off. It can be hard to change color sometimes without having to turn the light off/on and then go back into the settings. Otherwise, the ability to change the hues and intensity work pretty well and allow me to do fine adjustments so that I can use these lights. The music/party function doesn't work at all with most of the music I have tried because it causes a weird strobing affect unlike other lights I've seen with the same feature. Light bulbs themselves are about as great as a lightbulb can get. They do the colors, they make the light, they're cheap, and they're easy to install. The reason for the missing star is their connection to the Alexa app requires them to be configured within the Feit Electric app and then joined to Alexa via a skill. This is all well and good, but if you are trying to include them in a grouping of bulbs that are a mix of Feit and Alexa-native bulbs these will disappoint. There is lag in Alexa routine execution, sometimes the bulb simply ignores the command, and sometimes the bulb honors the change for a split second before reverting to its prior config. Works great, easy to setup. I use the colors very once in a while to set mood or just for fun.. I use the voice control to turn the lights on and off almost every time, I hardly use the physical switch anymore.. It's a fun, low, cost smart home solution. I have not used the timer or automations but some might fine them useful. I have used the remote off a fews times when I left home realized I would be for longer than expected. Read more
