This is the one we always go with. Just surprised it’s more expensive on Amazon than it is in the stores near me. We only bought it here because it was sold out at the store. I’m rating it 5 stars based on the product because the actual product is good and it’s what we use with our cat. 🐈 A little bit more in depth review as I’ve seen others complaining: I always used clay/sand litter with my cats and I’ve had cats for my whole life. I’ve never used pellets. But when my fiance and I went to adopt our first cat together, they had already been using this at the shelter, so we wanted to try and stick with it. Our cat has no issues with this litter. I’ve seen a few people mentioning odor and honestly I haven’t noticed anything. Our apartment is tiny and our litter box is in the bathroom and it never smells like cat urine in here. And it doesn’t have that overly strong cat litter scent either which I feel like only adds to the urine odor sometimes. This stuff just smells like wood? I don’t know, maybe these people need to be cleaning more often or something. I change the box and litter once a week and in between that I add one scoop of clean litter towards the middle of the week for a little refresh. Easy. Odorless. Lightweight. I don’t know if it’s the best brand of litter that’s out there but it’s what we found and have stuck with. Definitely cheaper at the store though like I said and like others have said. ✌🏻 Read more

I switched to this litter in an attempt to get my cat to stop tracking the other clay litters throughout the house. The other litter would get stuck in her feet and then would end up everywhere throughout the house. This litter, with the proper maintenance schedule, does completely remove the litter tracking. I did get some litter tracking when I didn't change it out often enough, so you do have to remember to do that. Probably twice a week is enough for my one cat in my specific litter box. Once I switched though, I noticed the other quality of life improvements from using this litter. For one, I don't mind changing the litter anymore. Instead of looking at big wet disgusting clumps of litter, now I'm greeted with a ton of dry and unassuming sawdust. It's no longer a task I hate doing because it's gross. Now, I really don't mind doing it at all. The process is a little different since you're sifting the sawdust out of the litter box and into a trash can and trying to keep the pellets in the scoop, but it's not much different. It takes a little bit longer but I find it to be much more relaxing. Lastly, I love how after finishing cleaning the litter the scoop is completely clean. There's nothing left stuck to it like standard litters. As far as odor goes, I do notice that the poop smell isn't as well contained, so that's something you may want to consider. It really depends on how well your cat buries it and how long you've left it without changing it. The pee smell is completely eliminated. Overall I'm really happy with it! Read more

I started using this litter with my idiot orangeys. For whatever reason they have a weird behavior that I had never seen before in a cat: they roll in regular cat litter like a chinchilla. I switched to this and they don't roll. It does a decent job of cat pee odor control, although your house will smell like a saw mill. I scoop daily and I have to change the cat box with a 1/3 of a bag about every 10 days, so one 18lb bag lasts a month with two cats using it. Read more

Feline Pine Non-Clumping Cat Litter does an amazing job with controlling odors — my litter box always smells fresh, even with multiple cats. I love that it’s natural and there’s no overwhelming artificial scent. That being said, I’m not the biggest fan of how the urine turns the pellets into sawdust. It makes it harder to scoop and can get a little messy. It’s more of a personal preference, though, because overall, it’s still a good litter that works really well for odor control. Plus, it is a good price for what you get compared to other cat litters which can get expensive; especially with multiple cats. If odor control is your main concern and you don’t mind the sawdust texture, this is definitely worth trying! Read more

I’m so glad I switched to pine litter over standard clumping cat litter. This smells great and doesn’t leave an odor. I’ll scoop the solids out every couple days and mix it up, after about a week and half I can see it needs switched out and I’ll just dump the whole thing and refresh it with new. I’m impressed with the smell, and my cats took to it easily. I just switched, and they had no choice and transitioned easily. No more dust, no more nasty smell, and it’s honestly lighter than a whole wet bag of used liter when taking out to the trash. Read more

I got a bag to try because my usual brand was temporarily out of stock. It crumbles too easily and does NOT absorb urine smell. It made my whole apartment reek of ammonia. And I do sift and scoop the litter boxes at least a few times daily. I don’t have that issue with the other brands of pine pellets I usually use. I will not be buying this brand again. Read more

My cats and I enjoy this litter rather than regular litter. I did a slow switch, slowing adding more of the pellets to the clay litter each day after cleaning the litter box until there wasn’t anymore clay litter so my cats didn’t suspect any change. It doesn’t have additives for clumping, but instead disintegrates when urinated on. It takes a little longer to scoop out fecal matter due to the pellet not sifting through the scoop, but I’d personally rather it take longer than deal with dust and foul odor of clay litter. Only time I’ve seen dust is when I begin to get to the bottom of the packaging while pouring it into the box. The bags are much lighter than clay litter and tracks so much less. I enjoy the ease of sweeping up a few pellets daily, and not finding it scattered around my house like clay litter which has much smaller particles. I also don’t track the pellets anywhere bc I can see them to not step on them. I personally feel it’s a great value for the money for my 2 cats and myself. Read more
