I got these boots to be part of my fall wardrobe. They arrived folded, in thin dust jackets. The chocolate brown color is gorgeous. The boots fit great, and are easy to walk in due to the block heel. There is a zipper that goes about half way up the side of the boot, and a small elastic panel at the top. My pair had the panel sewn shut, but it would be easy to open the seam. There's plenty of room to wear ward socks or add a insole cushion for added comfort. The boots are made from a heavier material, and are very warm so I wouldn't recommend for summer wear. My only complaint is that my boots arrived with scuffs on the soles of both boots, and chips on the toe of the left boot. I believe they must have been a returned pair. Since the damage isn't obvious unless you're up close, I decided to keep them. Read more

These are really a knee high boot for wide calfs!!! If you're like me and have thick legs and order boots that zip up mid calf but never all the way up, look no further. These are the boots for you. And the heel height is sexy on these. Get ready to step comfortably. They are comfortable and a great value for what they're worth. These boots are beautiful!! They look great on and the quality feels good. I knocked off a star because they are advertised to be for wide calves which I dont think I have but these boots were tight even my calves. The zipper does not go all the way up on the boot which I feel would work better for people that do have wide calves. I do think the sole could have more cushion as well due to these being heeled boots. Read more

I have no words to describe how stunning these boots are (I got the black ones), and they’re so comfortable too! Just a heads-up: definitely size up, especially if, like me, you have thicker calves. I’m usually an 8.5, but I ordered a 9 anticipating the fit, and I’m so glad I did. An 8.5 wouldn’t have gone up my leg, and honestly, a 9.5 would’ve also worked with extra room for thick socks. The material is excellent quality, and there's just the right amount of stretch around the calf for a beautiful, snug fit. The heel feels stable and the footbed is roomy and comfy. I really do love these boots, and the only reason I gave it four stars instead of all of the stars is because the space where my feet rest, don’t have much cushion, feels like the balls of my feet are pushing into an unrelenting surface. I’m not much of a “heel” gal, but if you need to look nice at work and you do a lot of sitting behind a desk, these are perfect. They look beautiful and you don’t have to walk around a bunch. The fabric is soft and beautiful. The zipper is midway down the boot as you can see from some of my photos. My calves are a little on the larger side and these boots fit no problem, no issues getting them off and on quick. They look equally adorable with a dress or jeans. I plan on treating them for rain before fall hits, these boots were made for fall weather and pumpkin lattes.
