I purchased the 55” 1-piece standing desk. The order arrived far ahead of schedule (both boxes were delivered in under 48 hours. The desk looks and works great. Desk height adjustments are easy and the motor is very quiet. It is definitely a good value. All parts are high quality and fit together well. The only glitch is the assembly manual, as other reviewers have mentioned. Its content consists of diagrams — some of which are confusing — and no text descriptions. Assembly is relatively easy once you’ve made sense of the process through trial and error. A few steps are missing. For example, the instructions don’t specify which screws attach the base feet to the legs and which attach the frame to the leg. I didn’t know until I got to the step of attaching the feet. Keep that in mind when assembling the desk. I read the instructions a few times before starting and still ended up making corrections at the end I am very happy with the desk. The instruction glitch is just something you should be aware of before you enjoy this desk and should not be a deterrent. Finally, if you order the one-piece desk, it will be delivered separately. Be sure to check FedEx tracking on both packages. I missed that and contacted the seller for assistance. They responded within a couple of hours on a weekend and clarified those details. This desk was exactly what I needed! I've had it for about 2 weeks now and it works perfectly. All parts came very carefully packaged. I've read a lot of reviews about the assembly directions and while yes, it is mostly pictures it was very easy to follow. There are some tips that are in the directions to help make it a little easier, please follow them. If you follow the directions exactly you will have no problem with the desk. I tried at first to do it my own way and it was much harder. I am a 5' petite woman and I had no problem putting it together myself. It was very easy to set my heights on the preset buttons. The quality of this desk is excellent as well. While the surface of the desk is in 2 pieces, it is still very smooth. There also is no shaking or wobbling when set at the highest level. I've waited a couple of months to review this desk and let me tell you, it's been worth every penny. MATERIALS: The materials are solid — there's no doubt about that. The shipping weight is 70 lbs., so you know the stuff in it is sturdy. ASSEMBLY: I assembled it by myself without power tools and it took me two and a half hours, mostly due to being extra careful not to scratch the hardwood with any of the pieces. This desk comes together pretty well. I recommend checking your work after every step as once you assemble the legs with the rest of the body, it becomes hard to make those adjustments without unassembling and tightening. FUNCTIONALITY: I use the height adjuster at least a couple of times every day and it runs smoothly every time. Very little noise and it takes 4 seconds to go from 27.5 "to 39.6" My advice if you've never used an adjustable desk — take your time figuring out a standing height that works for you. It might take a few days until you find one that feels seamless. AESTHETIC: I'm pleased with the Rustic Brown finish. It goes well with the floor I had installed in this room just weeks before getting the desk. The wood finish is smooth to the touch and I've spotted no imperfections. The storage is just a bonus — it's not ample, but that's why I liked it. It has just enough space to keep some small stuff on the side drawers and under the top slab. Super happy with it. Read more

The desk is easy enough to assemble. There are four memory settings for different heights. The motor works fine and the range of stand up to sit down is adequate. The cubby for the keyboard is a little short. As I type this, my fingers hit the top of the upper desk. There is not quite enough room on the right for my mouse is my biggest ergonomic compliant. This may have been designed for a smaller person (I am 5'11") or not tested well is all I can think of. It will work but it is not perfectly designed. The desk itself is slightly weak in the middle due to the design of the wood. The lower desk is not one piece. It is made from two skinner halves and the wood (pressed) itself is only about a half inch thick. I have had much thicker, solid desk parts than this piece. It feels like it will still hold up and provide me with a great space to work from. It is not as sturdy as I would like but it was also one of the more inexpensive stand-up desk options so I guess you get what you pay for. Read more

I ordered two of these and upon arrival, one of them worked great but the other did not raise & lower. I'm still giving this product 5 stars mostly because of the supurb customer service. They promptly helped me fix the issue and now I have two great desks. They look great and function very well. The abundant open space under the desk allows for chairs, computer tower, printer, etc. It's also sturdier than thought it would be. Given the dimensions, it seems like it would be really top heavy, but doesn't give that feel in practice when everything is set up. Read more
