Quality Performance At A Good Price
We use a lot of filtered water from our refrigerator, so I change the filter regularly as the manufacturer prescribes. My fridge is now over 10-years old, and over that time I've used a lot of different filter brands in it. As with many items, the original manufacturer name-brand filter is comparatively expensive, so after spending the money to buy those a few times I tried different aftermarket units to see if I could reduce the cost. For the last few years, I've used these FilterLogic filters and have been very happy with them. We're on a rural water system, and our tap water is not particularly bad tasting, but these filters remove any lingering aftertaste and the water really tastes great out of the fridge. The lifespan of these units meets my fridge's six-month filter replace frequency with no problems--and that's with fairly heavy water use. My only complaint is that the filter can be a little difficult to remove (it takes some real effort), but that is a result of the refrigerator design--not these filters. I've had the same issue with every brand tried. I can fully recommend these FilterLogic filters as effective replacement units at a very good price. Read more

Actually NSF certified! Fits my Samsung fridge well, great taste
At less than 20% of the price of the OEM Samsung filter I was skeptical. I first checked the NSF website for the NSF certificate number that's listed in the product description, but I couldn't find the certificate. So I emailed the NSF. To my astonishment, a real person followed up and after some research confirmed that this product is in fact NSF certified. So I ordered a three-pack and installed today. The fit is excellent and initial performance is excellent too - flow is equal to or better than the Samsung OEM and the filtered water tastes excellent. See the photo for comparative specs (Samsung OEM vs FilterLogic). Assuming the performance holds, I'm thrilled. I can afford to change these much more frequently than the Samsung, so I don't really care if they last as long as the OEM (the performance of the Samsung filters, like all filters, degrades over time so more frequent changes should result in better water quality). Kudos to Filter Logic for a good, inexpensive product and kudos to NSF for responding quickly and personally. Read more
