Decent variety
I had hoped that this book would cover more well known works of art as I introduce my children to Van Gogh, da Vinci, Kahlo, etc. It covers a decent variety of artistic styles, and my son is eager to delve into the activities. Read more

Really well written
We've just started with the first few pages, and it's fantastic enough that I sat down to write a review already. Just what I was looking for... teaching kids about actual art concepts and not just tutorials on what strokes to make to draw a specific thing. The concepts are amazingly clearly explained... great for both kids and adults. And then they have art projects related to the lessons. Don't hesitate... if you want to teach real art concepts to your family or learn about them yourself, grab this book. Read more
