As a piano teacher, this is one of my favorite theory books to use with early learners. The activities are engaging, age appropriate, and do a great job reinforcing what students are learning at the piano. It makes note reading, rhythm, and basic theory feel fun instead of intimidating. I especially like how it pairs so naturally with the Piano Adventures lesson books. The illustrations keep kids interested and the exercises help concepts really stick. The contents seems intact, but as you can see, the cover is cut off at the top. I want my students to take care of their music books and be responsible for keeping them in good condition. However, if I present them with an item that's not quite right, it makes it more difficult to impress this value on them. Read more
