NOT softgrip, but a great product
As other reviews have stated, this product is incorrectly labeled with the picture being accurate. There is no soft grip, it's just metal as the picture shows, hence the four star rating. However, as I was expecting that I am happy with my purchase. The product is solid, the blade stays in the handle unless you really twist it while cutting, and the blade is sturdy and sharp. Does the job if you are careful.
Basic craft knife. Made from aluminum, it gets the job done for paper crafts. You have to use care not to press too hard or try to cut through too many layers. Getting the blade in securely was a little harder than other brands I have used. The tightener collar was looser and made it a bit of a challenge. I wouldn't recommend use for anything thick or sturdier than paper (say vinyl or balsa wood). Read more
