Horrible fitment and big eyesore with large gaps between roof liner and plastic housing. Maybe it got warped during shipment? Cam would not recognize the default WIFI passwords with serious issues connecting. Tried two different apps to connect, neither worked. Just really disappointing. Great concept, bad execution. UPDATE: After a prompt refund and repurchase I found that my car’s rear view mirror plastic housing that attaches to the windshield is warped and that’s what caused the gaps between the fitcamx housing the the car’s roof lining. I’ve had this for around 6 months now. It’s been working great! I really like the design and the fact that it looks like a factory provided camera. Installation is not too hard but not super simple either. Many reviews mention that there’s a gap after installation but it’s not noticeable. I prefer to have a gap that small compared to having a whole separate camera with wires hanging out. Overall i recommend this product. Read more

Getting the OEM cover off was easy. Popping off the OEM tabs wasn't too hard. Getting that darn plug out took more than 20mins sure I was being careful but man is it hard to unplug. If that was the only issue I'd probably give this a 4/5. Connecting to the camera is very hard if you have Android auto or your cars hotspot set to auto reconnect it may be near impossible. As others have noted the fit is ln't the best. Mache forums recommend taking hair dryer or heat gun to it to soften up the plastic and make the fit more flush I may give this a try in the future. All this combines to give this product a 3/5 star. Honestly if they just improved the fit most these other things could be overlooked since it is 1 time problem and done. Read more

I have been very impressed with this integrated webcam. I must say, the model I received fits like a glove and leaves no gaps. I installed it within a few minutes. Just make sure you line up the small guide line of the round plug. It looks so stock and sleek! Additionally, it is very easy to connect to a phone, much easier than my fussy Thinkware cams.
