Installed on my ‘23 MDX Type S Advance. Easy to set up, and it works as expected. On day two so far, no issues. CarPlay functions normally while the camera records. To view footage, you can use the app (which disables CarPlay temporarily) or check the SD card on a PC. I set up the app and settings on day one and haven’t used it since. This is our 3rd Fitcamx that we have purchased for our vehicles. The install was pretty easy on our 2023 Acura MDX. It took a little bit to connect the adapter harness, but it didn't bother me. The only thing to look out for, was a conflict between Android Auto and the Fitcamx App. I ended up having to disable Android Auto while trying to get access to the camera, as it will keep wanting to connect and wouldn't let me connect to the WiFi on the camera. This was somewhat a pain, but I finally got connected to the camera. It took longer for me to connect via the app than installing the physical camera. Read more

Video quality is great and it looks oem. I was having issues connecting to the camera..all i had to do was disconnect from bluetooth and apple carplay, hard reset the camera with a pin and power off/on my phone and it connected effortless. Just installed this in my 2024 MDX Type-S, plenty of install videos on YouTube so it’s relatively easy. The existing plugs are a little quirky to plug into the camera but still easier than having to run a wire and plug into a cigarette lighter plug. I purchased the front camera in 4K. Great picture and easy to connect to. Make sure you read the instructions from the seller when they message you through Amazon. They have a lot of tips and tricks to make the install easier. The design of this makes it look like OEM which is great. If you install the rear camera you will barely see one wire for the run to the rear of the SUV. I still haven't had enough time to view the camera footage. So why the only 3 star review? I would like to see a firmware update in the future to include a voice that indicates the device is on and one that is is beginning to record. Without these options I don't actually know it is recording or if it is actually working. I've seen one video when these initially released that the device stopped working after a month and he only noticed it after the blue LED light stopped working. The manufacture needs to incorporate this in similar to other dashcam manufactures like Viofo. Not sure yet if I will keep it. Hopefully they address this in a revision soon. Read more
