One of the easiest installs ever, about 10 mins and it's all set. With the autodimming/HomeLink mirror, you just use the shown cable to tap that existing power. Getting the cables inside the shroud was a little tricky but it works. I made sure to move the felt from the clips on the original shroud to the new since they didn't include any. Functionally it looks good. This appears to have better firmware than some of their other units and as such it has more intervals for loop recording. I did knock a star because there is no lock button or feature. With most dash cams there is a button to lock the current ongoing recording so that it doesn't get overwritten, like if you witness something for example, that would not trigger any kind of automatic locking. Otherwise functionality is good and yes you can change the WiFi SSID and password in the Fitcam app to address any concerns of passerbys eavesdropping. They also included an SD to USB A and USB C adapter in case you need to remove the card and plug it into a phone or PC to pull data. Replacement was sent out as the original had a issue with the SD card not seating correctly in the reader reader causing it to not work. Customer service has been excellent! They were fast to respond and were able to ship one out immediately. The new one works great. I still have yet to test the video quality, but a quick view on the phone at night with headlights on looks good. I love how this fits perfectly and looks oem. Tucking the cables in can be a bit tricky, but once you get it it's flawless looking. Was able to connect easily with my phone, but my android auto was trying to reconnect as the camera has no internet connection so it chooses the car. I just unplugged my android when I need to connect to view a video. It comes with the camera micro sd card pre-installed, a double sided usb micro sd card reader, mirror power cable, and a plastic pry tool. Read more
