I somehow injured my thumb. I have no idea what I did but the pain was excruciating. I could not bend it, I couldn't even hold a cup. Worst of all, it was my left hand and I write left handed and I couldnt even hold a pen. As a person with a severe aversion to doctors, I was actually close to going to see one. This brace saved me. I have almost 100% mobility back, and can use my hand normally. I only feel slight pain when I fully bend it ... I wouldn't even really call it pain. Thank you so much to the maker of this brace, as it saved me probably hundreds or thousands of dollars in medical bills, ya know cause I live in freedom town USA where folks scream 'death panels' if anyone dares to try to give us good healthcare and where medical needs are financially devastating and the care is questionable at best (btw, we already have death panels ... we just call them insurance companies. Thank you Richard Nixon)!!! Read more
Works great! I injured my thumb. I’m an avid 66 year old cyclist. The brace keeps my thumb more stable and hurts less when I’m riding. My cycling gloves fit over the brace with a little bit of effort. Thanks….I’m glad I purchased! Read more
The price point is great and this provides an economical support. It is well made and quite quick and easy to fit. For my use, and this is why I marked the support down, it locks my wrist too much, when all I need is thumb support. This leads to my wrist aching through lack of movement and the inner edge of my palm feeling uncomfortable. It does lock the thumb, but wearing this for an extended period I found to be a problem. As a cost effective support it works but it is not for me. Read more
I hyperextended the ligament my thumb. I can tell the difference with having the brace on and not having it on. I don’t know if the copper makes a difference. I love that it’s not extremely bulky and I can still do what I need to while wearing it. Read more
I have xl hands , this has enough strap with Velcro to securely fit and support vs other ones tried . ( Update - Nov-3-2025 ) beware purchasing from this company !! They sent me one that had been returned by someone previously ? I developed some type of skin sore on the top of the hand under this brace. I had already purchased a second one luckily . The 1st one when I washed it had blood or iodine come out of it . So buyer beware !!! It is ashame too because it fit my larger hands where others did not . It looked and smelled ok !!! Both came shipped in a loose zip lock type bag . If this review is not enough for you to not buy ! Wash and disinfect at least before wearing … I did not make the connection until the 2nd one arrived ! The Velcro intensity on the 2nd one was much greater which made sense . The Velcro was worn on the 1st contaminated one ! Read more

I found this brace hard to wear, because of the splints inside. They were stiff, and didn’t fit my hand, as described. I thought I might have been able to remove them, but they weren’t meant to be removed. It didn’t matter how tight or loose I put it on. It still was painful, and I would take it off. It cause more pain than my tendinitis did. That being said about my hand, I would think that it would help others. I have a smallish hand, which even if it’s supposed to fit everyone, it didn’t help me. It also was where the metal splints were, right over the thumb, which was where my pain was the worst. It is very well made, and didn’t fall apart at all. Some braces like this aren’t very well made, but this one is. The stitching is strong, as well as the Velcro straps to help size it for your hand. It also works for both left and right hands, which is really helpful. I had the same thing happen 10 years ago, and finally had surgery to repair the nerve. But all the braces I had from then were for the right hands only. So I had to go out and buy another one. Now it’s easy to find braces that work on either hand. I do recommend this brace, just be aware that it’s not adjustable, and the splints are stiff. Read more
