I just got this yesterday for my left hand. I wore it all day yesterday, to bed, and most of the day today. It is very comfortable and breathable, but does provide the right amount of support for my CMC thumb. I have a brace for my right hand that the occupational therapist gave me, but this one is superior to it. So, i ordered another one today for the right hand! This is completely adjustable in three places, and leaves my fingers free. It covers enough of the back of my hand to protect it from bumps which causes a lot of pain. I highly recommend this brace. These types of braces are used to treat De Quervains Tenosynovitis which usually takes 4-6 weeks of wearing 24-7 to heal one tendon.
